I can could see this airshow becoming the biggest in the world, not because of India's huge airforce(not that it isn't strong), but because of their "unsigned" buying power. India has no real enemies amoung the major aircraft producers of the world and while it may work closely with Russia it's not signed on as a matter of allegiance but of quality product. If Russia wants to keep selling India aircraft they'll have to keep making quality products and at airshows like this is where they can prove it, and their competitors can steal their glory.

Nice pics BTW, did you get any close ups of the Saturn turbine? that looked very cool.

to buy the CD, click here (within india order's only).

The "Aero India 2005" VCD is based on raw footage of the event filmed by BR Admin, Dr Shiv Shankar Sastry.

The content of the CD include:

a) The Indoor displays
b) The outdoor static displays
c) The flying displays.

As an event, Aero India 2005 was too big for comprehensive coverage of each and every display in each and every stall. But the film has been made through the eyes of a typical Aviation enthusiast, with footage of equipment and events that are close to the hearts of Indian Aviation enthusiasts.

Sub-titles have beed added throughout the Aero India VCD to indicate major items, but there is no background music. We have retained the the original sound as in many cases we found it appropriate as the commentary in the background illustrates and complements the event or object being viewed in the film.

sample for real player

Within India INR Rs. 150.00 (inc. Postage and Packaging)
