Those Words

It’s all in your mind, it’s in your head,
Those words I think you think I said.
What you thought wasn’t what I meant,
To dwell on that, isn’t time well spent.

It’s your imagination, running astray,
Those words I think you think I say.
What you heard isn’t what I said,
It’s what you thought I said instead.

It’s the context here that really matters,
Not the way that your brain scatters,
The meanings to fit inside your head,
Of the words I think you think I said.

Had I written them in a different way,
Then you could’ve of possibly,
Took them from that point of view...
Those words don't mean what you think they do.

Talk about alliteration, this was alliteration with cadence . . .and reverse cadence.

You have inspired within Me,
something in poem form,
for You to see...

Well said there My Friend.
And We need to remember that in the end,
What matters most is what We say,
not how They took it to mean that day.

We know in Our own minds,
what is meant by Our words,
nevermind how They take them,
at times it's absurd.

If We just do right by others,
For our friends, sisters, brothers,
We will leave a legacy of goodness,
when this planet We part,
in all of Our Loved one's Hearts...
