"Trump thinks SNL is unwatchable, it should be thrown into fake news also.

The term “fake news” is golden for MSM for that, You don’t have to bring up arguments or use logic to convince people, you can just cry “fake news!”.

SNL is perhaps the BEST example of freedom of expression a person could use. Nothing and no one sacred. SNL does not pretend to be news. They comment on the news.

Oh you mean how Facebook, Twitter and Reddit are being censored. The same sites that don't pretend to be news sites. Just like you say it's commentary it's not "Fake News"

My dear friends and Earthlings. This is not just the warning shot, it is the ushering in of our brave new world Oceania. Those of you that do not immediately adapt to Newspeak, will be brutally reckoned with.

You have been warned.

Fake news started as baseless claims that were clearly false but now its being used for any story that someone disagrees with regard less of facts or evidence As far as controlling the media look into how CNN and CBS cover Trump and what Kushner said about destroying protest movements or even better how Trump said he wants to meet with Bill Gates to figure out "how to shut whole parts of that thing down" in reference to the Internet. Shutting down the Internet sounds like something a Facist dictator would discuss.

quote from user 'Rukia'

All of you who are all up in arms over this and who actually think that this is something to be concerned about are overthinking this. You don't see the forest for the trees. What do you think this is?

It is what it is.

Always has been.

Didn't you know?

Don't say stupid stuff on social media. Be discreet

Glowdog, I think that while your comments (which I have neglected to post here), in reply to Rukia, accurately sum up the fact that people are highly concerned about the fact that child sex trafficking is going on amongst the rich & powerful in Washington DC, and that there is a blatant media cover-up of the facts using such an obvious BS meme - 'Fake News' (to the extent of politicians & power brokers making sweeping accusations, censoring social media & propagandising like the Nazis, and now perhaps orchestrating a really simple & easy to pull off false flag). User 'RUKIA' (as quoted above) is stating that we all should be well aware of the fact that the biggest social media tool that is available for use, is in fact a straight-up intelligence gathering tool which was developed using CIA money, and which is controlled ultimately by the world of the Spooky Woo. Therefore, it is straight-up common sense not to broadcast any 'controversial' or 'alternative' stories, images, links or personal views when using that tool. While I utterly disapprove of any attempt by agencies either governmental or privately operated to curtail our freedom of speech & expression, it is easy to see where RUKIA is coming from (literally?) Incidentally, it's a proven fact that we are often self-censoring, in order to 'fit in'. In my case, I have a mother who always tries to trash any alternative-leaning post I share. Thanks Mum..! But seriously, she's still on my case even at the age of 35...

As a citizen of the UK, I know that if I personally was of interest to the UK security apparatus, then the agents of the NSA in the US would very likely be collecting information regarding my online research & posting history, thereafter handing it over to GCHQ, or MI5/6, as required. I don't approve of that, but thankfully for the world of covert intelligence gathering, they don't give a # that I don't approve of that. The light scatters abroad through the PRISM of their all-seeing eye. That last sentence probably caused this post to be flagged (as if it wasn't already), so at this point I can say a friendly hello to our friendly neighbouring security service, and assure them (for the millionth time) that I'm a simple man with simple goals in life, trying to recoup my soul forllowing a shocking fall from grace earlier in life.. Nothing of my motive for sharing information is nefarious in any way, shape or form.

The reason I research & post in this forum is because I love the Truth, and it's an inescapable, unstoppable drive to achieve an understanding of Truth which keeps me moving forwards.

"Just keep swimming", as the saying goes.

This guy has led an interesting life. He has even done work with poor little orphan kids in Haiti. Small world, eh?

That is astounding! Thank you for that.

I can't believe the division on this.

It's all fake news.
* He shot once.
* He shot at employee, then floor
* He never fired weapon at all, walked in told em to scram didn't find anything suspicious

What we know about Edgar:
* He's heart felt for Haiti children.
* Friend says in NC he swerved other side of street to strike a teenager with his car.

Is this product of fake news or wikileaks?
Wikileaks. Y'know... stuff you're not allowed to read, it's CNNs job.
It's easily debunked.... "I don't even have a basement." - James Alefantis (now)

2 pictures of his "basement" being under construction. No build permit anywhere. That's Illegal.

He's gone on record on BBC news claiming they make their sauce with 100% pure organic tomatoes and how hard it is to unload crates of tomatoes in the basement, that's where they jar their sauce.

img1.steemit.com...://i.sli.mg/s3px8V.png

img1.steemit.com...://imgur.com/b8kKyZ1.jpg

In any investigation they try to entrap you. Usually to get you to lie. This is his lie. Him lying would cause immediate probable cause to contain him. Well... any normal person anyway couldn't lie about not having basement where accusations came up.

Reality sites describes Cosmic Pizza as two story building.

He has zero respect for children/babies: #HOTARD on babypic, #Why does daddy like butt? on baby picture. #New seating arrangement to girl taped over table. Not mention his friends who make child coffins, #CosmicPingPong weird "Eyes Wide Shut" ritual there, or take picture of girl by bedside in dark room and # name of missing child. It's fun to troll babies, children..

That's why he's under scrutiny. His connection to Soros, 5 trips to White House, to Hillary.

Ahh, yes... Hillary. Y'know... who was announced last month by NYPD who is building a case of Bill Clinton and Hillary and "many in her cabinet"? Crimes like..
Money laundering, Child exploitation, Sex crimes with minors (children), Perjury, Pay to play through Clinton Foundation(organ trafficking), Obstruction of justice, and other felony crimes..enough evidence “to put Hillary (Clinton) and her crew away for life,”

But let me guess... pizzagate a term to define
Pizza= codeterm little girl in deep web confirmed by Hacktivist who gets us wikileaks and have worked effortlessly turning pedophiles into police

Gate= politics, term define corruption in government not food chain.

It isn't matter if it's real, it's matter who all is involved. Public private investigation on John Podesta, Tony Podesta, James Alefantis is PROBABLE CAUSE with what we already know from NYPD and Wikileaks.

It's not news, it's a witch hunt.

This will give immense justification for the DHS to put their foot down making pressure on alternative sites to censor speech or be forced to shut down .

That already goes on. Even here. The whole Fukushima thread is "missing".

We thought they wouldn't try to gain control over the whole internet? For all of history before, the dissemination of information has been one way, top-down. They won't stop until they get their way. Shutting down two way communication by speed of light between ordinary people... what a thorn in the controllers side.

Censorship is real and really here....Sad really. lol

This is a real danger. They will try to sell this on several fronts, protecting children from porn; protecting us from "fake news," or to stop politically incorrect speech. The road to hell of course is paved with good intentions. However, I doubt the good intentions of the elite.

Alex Jones is the perfect example of the idiocy of the Right. He's not purposefully ignorant, those people are the enemy, but he is generally ignorant.

The best this year was when Eric Andre was at the RNC, and because Alex sees a black person with an afro, he just assumes it's Wyatt Cenac like a racist.

Unless under Trump, the U.S. regains control of the Internet from the UN we are in deep doo-doo.

You know, on first read I thought the same thing. But I grew up in a time when there was no computers, no internet, and to be honest, I think things were a hell of a lot better than they are now.

Maybe dumping the computer and the internet will be a wake up call for us and for them.

I work in the computer field and personally hate social media for the most part...despise it for children (father of two daughters)...but I have to embrace it for business purposes.

Think of social media as today's cocktail party. You move from group to group discussing topics without too much constraint and often (after a few drinks) with a bit of "freedom". Now picture these government groups sending in police to listen to what you say and decide if they will permit it or not. They may decide based upon nothing but opinion. They may decide and inject their personal beliefs. I can nearly guarantee they won't simply use truth and facts...this will become a weapon of the enemy. And by that I mean the enemy of truth, facts and logic.

We should have never given up any control of the internet in my opinion, and the "big guys" like Facebook, etc. should have no more power over the net's future than "joe average". The power of the internet is that everyone can speak. Turn that over to government or big business and that will end quickly.

I'll agree with you since I know little about him. But him being ignorant, racist, stupid or anything else does NOT give anyone the right to silence him. Just like freedom of speech and capitalism in general, the view of idiots can and will be filtered by the masses. People (for the most part) are smart enough to figure out what is BS and what isn't. And besides...what you or I may consider "wrong", is only "wrong" if the masses don't believe it. Popular makes "right" and it must always remain that way. The only other option is a dictator telling people what is "right" and what is "wrong".

I'd much rather leave it to the people to decide the direction and fate of the people than leaving it to any dictator.

I never said anything about silencing them.

Alex Jones has tens of millions of listeners, how is he being silenced? My entire point is someone as popular as a figurehead as him is a racist. He's bigger than the lefts version of Michael Moore, with a fanboy-ized audience. He single handly turned his radio show into 'infowars.com' and basically a television show now. He's hardly been censored by anyone, the proof is people believe the ignorant incorrect information that comes out of his outlet. His show is sensationalized, and most people that watch him or listen to him take his words with extreme grains of salt. Somehow in the nonsense of these arguments, incorrect information being criticized became 'censorship'. Being criticized is not censorship, censorship is a buzzword for the incorrect people to further entice rage and push incorrect information. I respect Alex as a media person however, running any form of content is difficult, and more content is never bad. His job is hard.

I'm not sure it is a warning shot. I see it more as a desperate magazine-draining indiscriminate firing at the moon while screaming something about Russia.

Also, this is going to backfire. Every move is telegraphed and predicted ahead of time, the plays are being stopped in the backfield, hence the hailmary attempts on first and ten with every issue. (apologies for the metaphor geeks).

I mean, even Andrew Bogut is up late tweeting about Pizza.

could be a typical Alex money bomb or marketing scheme or could his site really be shut down?

I don't take infowars as scripture by any stretch, but its a good launch pad for self investigation - he's done good jobs sending reporters to things msm overlook.

thoughts?

It has your general alt-right bogus. Hillary being a Hologram came out of Infowars. Or rather, they're the ones that made that fake news piece popular. Really interesting the way his show operates, never having to put his own reputation on the line, and every time he messes up, it means literally nothing. He's redacted pizzagate comments, no one cares what he says though or if it's accurate, they care about hearing what they want to hear, and people actually respond worse when he tells the truth.

I'd like to point out that the MSM are the ones who took "hands up don't shoot", a lie, and turned it into something millions of people believe happening by covering it like it was verified fact. Just like the OSU "shooting". They run all day with "there's been a shooting at OSU", occasionally mentioning this is all based on unconfirmed reports so they don't have to retract anything later, and turns out it was completely false, but you can still find people who don't know it turned out to be false. Just like you can still find idiots years later who think Michael Brown had his hands up when he was shot.

So yeah, if you wanna talk about "fake news" and fake snippets starting elsewhere and then being popularized by the media, that doesn't just happen "on the right" or the "alt-right".

My first time on the internet was with a 300 baud modem communicating via "The Well". It was extremely expensive because you paid for packet transfers over the telephone lines and Ma Bell made a killing. Then came Q Link, which morphed into America Online, to AOL. It was still slow going even after I moved up to a 2400 baud modem.

I thought moving from modems to DSL, and having a fixed browser was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I didn't see for a second what was coming.

Dear God, if I had known what kind of genie I was letting out the bottle, I would have never made that first connection. I think I know now how the creator of the Atomic Bomb felt.
