I didnt see anything there about foreign nationals/illegals in it. And im NOT RIGHT WING. im a constitutionalist and they are breaking the laws of said document. If it was back in their times they would had went to war with mexico for a invasion.

No, I don't mean the American families that lost their homes when the markets crashed. Americans took care of those Americans that were displaced, and they shared what they had. In our house we have a little ritual that is honored at the preparation of every meal, because of this event. We portion out the amount of food that is needed for the number of people that are expected to eat from that meal. We add two additional portions, just in case; 1 for the greedy and 1 for the needy.

You can't compare Americans that are displaced because of a financial failure to Americans having to provide for millions of illegal immigrants that the claim they are fleeing their country for political reasons.

Give me a break. You would not fight those odds either. You would die, or run. Nothing you could mount against that threat could be called a fight and you know it.

So you suggest that they should take their problem to a place where they can wage a war that they are sure to win. To front door of Americans?

Sometimes. Sometimes they went to unexpected guests. But at the time the tradition started, it went to anyone that was hungry that came to my grandmothers door. My mother says she was told by her mother, never send anyone away hungry, even if she could give them nothing more than butter and sugar sandwiches.

I don't treat anyone differently that has a need and asks for help. I will admit that I have disdain for those that are here illegally and make demands. After reading a few of your posts, I think I understand what you are thinking and how you feel. You don't sound like you are a land owner or a person of means. I don't think you would feel the way you do if you had a lot to lose.

I don't mean this in a negative way. God knows that I am living month to month myself. It is just that I believe the problem here is a subjective one. We each see it from our life experiences and our point of few. I am confused a bit though because it sounds like you think the answer is for everyone in the world to just throw all the resources, money, and possessions into a big pot and to disseminate them all equally to everyone.

Even if by some miracle this could be done, at the end of a week, things would be right back to were they are now, with the haves and the have nots.

You are never going to get the person that has worked their entire life, struggled and sacrificed, for their land, home and family, to compassionately, just give it all away to a person that came here illegally, because they wanted the things that person worked and fought for.

You are never going to get the person that feels he drew the short stick in life, to stop blaming and resenting, those that he thinks has it so easy, and was handed everything on a silver spoon.

America is a land of immigrants. People that have come to make America their permanent home and to become Americans. No one is against legal immigration. Many Americans are struggling, they understand the struggle of the legal immigrant. What most Americans have trouble with is the illegal emigrant.
