The only thing that is not happening (for now) is a total ban on muslims entering. Which is still 100% inline with what he said about it. Only if there does not come a system that properly vets them then a total ban would come in its place. So right now he plans to have them all properly vetted. This is what the media is now twisting into him not honoring his promise.

By all means, treat others like scum because they have lived different lives to you, had different starts in life, different upbringings and different opportunities. Screw compassion, screw ethics and morality generally, just concentrate on your work ethic, because that's the ethic that matters. Up till i was 16 i slept in a nip-ah hut and our family vehicle was a putt-putt.
For those that dont know a putt putt is a bicycle with a side carand a nipah hut is built with bamboo sticks.
Sad thing is the community i grew up in were happier than you and had nothing where you are guaranteed something and all you do is whine and complain.

Wild thing is i pay my taxes and whats left over i share with my family whom sleeps on the floor of their nip-ah hut and they never once complain how hard things are.

I did not tell you a story. And as for my happiness level, its pretty high. Its high because I love people, rather than hating them based on total irrelevances, like what they contribute to a government which does not have my best interests, or those of my nation, at heart. I am full of joy, because the people I hold dear to me are compassionate people, who respect people who are different to themselves, even to the point of taking them in when they are down on their luck, and the reason they do this? Because they understand that but for the grace of God, or fate, or whatever any one of them believes in, they would be just as easily placed in those self same dire straights.

We are joyful because we have the capacity to love our fellow human beings, no matter what background they have, or what journey they have been on, and by so doing spread that joy we have to as many people as possible. Joyful people, people who have been provided with comfort and love, are far more readily able to apply themselves to work than those who are left to suffer. Again, you were lucky to have your hut, rather than nothing. You were lucky to have a vehicle of any kind, your family were lucky to have one another. You will never hear me complain about having nothing when I am doing nothing.

You will hear me complain when I work four times as hard as everyone I have ever met, and get ten times less than they do to show for it. You will not hear me complain when fascism and classism are erased from the world, but until every person who believes their class or race make them superior to anyone else, has been physically destroyed and their ashes scattered to the wind, I will have something to complain about, something to work toward tearing down, another statue to break the foundations of. I know full well how many people the communist dictators have murdered. They did what they did because they were sick, not because communism or socialism or any other noble political mindset told them they had to.

I want everyone who can get it to have at least what I have, if not better. I want everyone to have what they need to survive, for survival to be guaranteed, for luxuries to be things to which one might aspire besides that.

Not at all. As I said, I want everyone to have at least the opportunities I did, if not much, MUCH better ones. Why? Because I respect people and believe their worth is inherent in them, not something they work to gain or express.

I guess it is too late for me. Not because I am a blinkered, mentally mutated savage, but because the government has removed my blinkers and mentally reconstructed my savage mind.

I am presently in a battle to save my home because the government has reduced my retirement benefits. I can't work additional hours to make extra income, because if I do, I will be working for free, because the government will take one dollar for every two dollars I earn, and if I go over a certain amount, will shut down my payments all together.

It is hard to be compassionate when you are in a battle yourself not to be put out in the street, and you find yourself sitting in a booth listening to someone tell you the reason your check is being cut is the government doesn't have adequate funding. In the meantime, a person that has not paid a dime into the system, is collecting benefits with the aide of a State paid translator, which means paid for by more of my earned dollars that they are taking from me. When asked where the money is coming from to provide benefits for refugees, I was told, “I understand your frustration”, “We don't make the rules, we just have to follow them.”

It is hard to be compassionate when you are being declined a renewal of your driver's license by a State that has renewed you drivers license for over 20 years were nothing on the license has changed, because you lack a documented that never existed, not at the time in my home State. Their reason? They say that it is a new rule dreamed up by Homeland Security, which says now they can only except certain documents and no others. Keep in mind that I have a State ID card, a State issued professional license, a military veterans ID card, and a Top Secret security clearance. When asked how this could possibly make sense, when they are letting people in every day that have no proof of who they even say they are, and they are being given licenses, again I was told, “I understand your frustration”, “We don't make the rules, we just have to follow them.”

So I get it. I know why people are upset. I know why groups like IS and the KKK will continue to flourish. You see my blinkers are off and I am very mentally awake. Our government puts the rules into place to make sure that Americans will be treated like fourth class citizens, and will hate being treated as such. They understand our frustration. Our government is banking on us lashing out at those that are receiving the rights, respect, and lifestyles, that they are taking from us to favor others.

I agree that it is bad business, but it is also human nature to resist being usurped, so you are blaming the wrong people. When they are knocking on your door, putting you in the streets, and handing over your property to those that “have lived different lives to you, had different starts in life, different upbringings and different opportunities”, you may find yourself singing a different tune and you may find your soul a little soil tinged.

If you can't understand Legal immigration from Illegal immigration then your entire rant is blatantly biased. Continue to argue your biased point despite the fact it's unlawful to illegally immigrate in America. No amount of cry me a handful sympathy for some disadvantaged Non-American with no "papers" will change the fact that there's a legal way to immigrate to America.
