Setting fire to grandpa sounds like a pretty traditional Yule celebration to me. Um... No.

I mean - poor grandpa. What a dreadful thing to happen. Thank goodness so many of us here are sympathetic to his plight and eschewed the opportunity to laugh.

Actually that chest is an old travelling chest used by French sailors back in the 1800s... It was a wreck when I purchased it and renovated it myself about 15 years ago.

Immodium is not enough... I am thinking about a champagne cork right now for said kitten... OR the tip of the tree...

I don't know why, but for some strange reason, said kitten has been avoiding me for the past two days? *cough cough*

I do not wish to dig any deeper into artfully placed balls as above mentioned kitten really hates me right now and I am dreading the worst if Mrs Lags "accidently" leaves the bedroom door open...

I like the chest you've put the tree on (which looks smashing).

Using the tree as an alternative to Imodium is a novel idea and I'm sure little Diablo will thank you in the long run.

Being a kitty he'll have no trouble clambering up there. Even I can work out the paw-holds the artfully placed balls would afford him.

Reminds me of a horrid joke :

Child : "Mummy Mummy Grandpa has gone out?"

Mummy : "Well put some more petrol on him then..."
