Dear Liberals/Progressives/Snowflakes,

This is what being a strong president entails...
Instead of an apology tour capped off by Obamas "Cairo Initiative", President-elect Trump is saving American jobs and scaring communist China out of their gourds...

Sincerely,
The Makers of Reality

Donald Trump is far more concerned with flying around telling masses of slobbering idiots how great he is than being brought up to speed on all the geopolitics of which he is completely ignorant.

You see the result of his ignorance and lack of tact as a bold move because you're a weak minded sycophant who yearns for a strongman leader to lord over the nation. Do you derive some sort of vicarious ego boost from your delusions?

You did get one thing right though, you do seem to be making up your own version of reality as you go along. Screw "fake news" the problem goes much deeper — "fake reality."

Those are some delicious tears right there. The drooling idiots who voted for obama twice, elected trump. If all trump did was fly around and tell us all how great he is you wouldn't be so angry that he is doing an excellent job so far... and he's not even sworn in! Apple is exploring iphone manufacturing here in the USA, Carrier is keeping 1k jobs that were going away, ford isn't moving production to mexico, china is crapping their pants because trump did to them what they do to all of our new presidents. And you're upset because trump may offend a communist dictatorship by speaking to a democratically elected, female leader. It's so sweet to see you leftists lose your minds when real progress is being made.

Why is doing everything in his power to piss off china a good thing?

Is it the job of the president to intentionally try to piss off other countries?

"man I love how our president is making enemies" how is this logical?

what did Trump do to try to piss off someone?
he answered a call from the President of Taiwan.
The fact that he's talking to foreign leaders before he's sworn in could be a marker for how he deals with international issues.
More talking seems like a good idea..

I'm referencing the opening sentence in the OP which states "If everyone paid attention to the campaign it was no secret that Trump was going to do everything in his power to piss off china.". That's the opening line in a thread titled "I love trump one call and china ____ itself" so I'm asking, why the hell would doing everything in his power to piss off china be a good thing? those were OPs words.

It's a great tactic, you get them to make a mistake then you take them down.

I think the 'foot army' was allegorical...and the 'microsoft' quip regards financial economic and intellectual takeover. Use that fabulous 6 inches between your ears, you might surprise yourself

I will just say this...

There is a reason why when you shop at Target, Walmart, Best-buy...or even Trump's clothesline...or the steel he uses in his building projects...that it all comes form China..

Trump can eff-up our relationship with them..and everyone can cheer and tell China to go eff itself...But like every child should be taught, there are consequences to acting impulsively and emotionally without thinking.

Everyone moans about "Made In China"...how will they feel when their Walmart bill triples? It's real thing.

China is the US's 2nd largest trading partner. We can scuttle that relationship...and that might actually return a percentage of manufacturing jobs to the USA...but everyone's cost of living, or standard of living will suffer.

So in an isolationist mind-set..without China...Some ...some...Manufacturing jobs would return to the USA, but those workers would be paying much more for their general living expenses without cheap Chinese imports...along with everyone else paying more.

I've tried explaining Ricardo's Theory of Comparative Advantage before, in vain.

P*ssing off China is definitely more dangerous than P*ssing off Russia. Both militarily and economically. China owns so much of our debt. And people were worried about Clinton and Russia. This gets worse and worse.

Personally, I want the US to have good relations with Taiwan, but there are issues that 'Trump', pardon the pun, my personal beliefs.

He cannot use his database of phone numbers like Facebook.

LOL, Trump goes on a 'Thank You' ralley tour when he should be learning things like foreign policy and the basic job description of what a President can and cannot do.

In between twitter rants and picking pretty much random people for cabinet positions they have know knowledge of how to do and one that legally can't accept.

It is a comedy of errors.

Not if we use prison labor more extensively, which we should be doing. $0.50- to a dollar an hour wouldn't raise prices at all

The only rub to that plan for bringing back manufacturing jobs from China...is that you will have to go to Prison to get the job?

On second thought...that sounds like a perfect Trump policy and dovetails nicely into Trumps love of Privatized Prisons..

Corrections Corp. and GEO Group Prison Stocks Surge On Trump Win
www.nbcnews.com...

Good news...I brought back manufacturing jobs from China...Bad news you need to go to prison to get one of those jobs!

He is the biggest clown to ever hold the office...

On SNL Saturday Night Baldwin played Trump obsessively tweeting and unable to stop himself from tweeting during a security briefing.

And the real Trump...actually tweeted during the skit, ripping into Baldwin's portrayal of him as a compulsive tweeter.

You literally can't make this stuff up.

Yes, it's gold.

Until China and Russia combine forces.

China has built an "occupying army", with no first strike capability.

Russia has "first strike capability" with no ability to maintain an occupying force in a foreign nation as large as America.

BUT..piss them both off, and cause them to work together.

Russia launches their first strike "EMP" weapon that knocks out all communitcations and electronics nationwide in the US.

That gives China sufficient time to cross the pacific and overrun the US without any essential opposition, while the whole nation is in disarray, chaos, and confusion.

Before you know it, you'll be learning Chinese to understand what your master wants you to do.

Well if Walmart wants to keep the slogan "Everythings Cheaper in Walmart" then they will have to find away. Otherwise they better start changing there slogan real fast.

Oh..Walmart will remain the cheapest...but Everything will get more expensive under Trump Trade wars and tariffs.

It's not like someon will underprice them...Everything made in china will go up in price everywhere.

Sure thing. How are they going to get their occupying army over here? Stargates?

They don't have 10,000 boats or 15,000 planes*. Do you have any idea how long it would take to build them? Or how obvious that kind of manufacturing would be from space?

*Roughly what it would take to move ONE million troops from Asia to the Americas. They would need 10-25 times that many to occupy and hold us.

Actually pissing off china is a great idea, for the reasons you've stated. China owns too much of our debt. Have you ever heard the saying: if you borrow a thousand dollars you're a slave to the lender, but if you borrow a million, the lender is a slave to you?

If china does anything major against us, anything we can claim is an act of war, we can invalidate the debt we owe them. They know this and they won't do anything other than publicly cry because they're on the losing end of this deal.

Russia on the other hand, we have no leverage against, other than military. They're the ones you don't want to piss off.

LOL, sorry, not going to happen.

Nearly all military equipment is hardened, therefore this EMP strike would only wreak havoc on civilian life, not on defense. Further, once china got here they'd be met with missiles and 300 million guns.
