Can't say who. Ban hammer awaits.
But it seems you aren't asking me since I'm conservative.

In no particular order:

- General Electric
- Monsanto
- Walmart
- Haliburton
- Trilateral Commission
- Bilderberg Group
- Federal Reserve
- Microsoft
- Google
- Nestle
- Phillip Morris
- Merck
- Pfizer
- OPEC
- Exxon
- BP
- Aramco
- CIA/FBI/NSA/DIA/MI5/Mossad
- Military Industrial Complex

.... did I miss any ?

Out of all of those, I'd have say my favourite would be the Bilderberg Group... no muss, no fuss. Those guys just quietly go about making their dictatorial chess moves like nobody's business !

And who doesn't love an all-expenses paid weekend at a 5-star hotel to have sooper seekrit meets and greets !

Yeah, those guys know how to dictate with style.

I would base this favorite dictator thing not on politics, but on their limo. It has to be a Benz; Grosser, Pullman, S-Guard, Maybach, it doesnt matter. Burlwood over zabrano, and no tacky aftermarket addons. Not diesel, must be gasoline. 8 or more cylinders. Factory flagpoles on the fenders...

Yep, that is my criteria. It may take me a while to work this out, I dont actually have an answer, just the criteria.

What a stupid question..

Why is it a stupid question?

Dictators rise to power because they often fill the soul of hope to a very needy populace. Having typed that, it's not hard to see an heir of romanticism in their reign.

My favorite dictator is none other than he who shall not be named. The man had the world by the balls. I'm just in awe of his accompliments.

Oliver Cromwell was the best of the lot, because he genuinely wanted nothing more than the good of the nation, under God's guidance.

A bit like Theresa May then..

My first choice would be Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus. Begged by the people to be dictator, he served with distinction and restraint until the problems were solved, retired, and went back to his farm. When the next catastrophe came up and they begged him to again be dictator, he served for 21 days, fixed the problem, and retired again, back to his farm.

My second choice would be Harun al-Rashid. At least, the popular version.

Speaking of Dictators, I wanted to share the following:

Is this sort of analysis, focused on psychopathology rather than just politics, just as relevant to a Putin, an Erdogan, a Duterte? Maybe.

But those names, and others that come to mind, actually prove the point.

A list of narcissistic heads of state, as psychologist Nigel Barber observed, consists mostly if not exclusively of dictators. People like that tend to be "screened out by democratic systems of government."

This, then, is the bottom line:

Trump has little understanding of, commitment to, and (psychologically speaking) capacity for democratic decision-making. And that's been clear from the start.

In his convention speech, he said, "I alone can fix" our country's problems.

As author Masha Gessen put it: "Trump is the first candidate in memory who ran not for president but for autocrat -- and won."

He won not in spite of that fact but, frighteningly, because of it.

Social scientists discovered that the best predictor of who supported Trump wasn't economic deprivation (for example, having one's job shipped overseas)

...but a predilection for authoritarianism -- an extreme need for order, a fear of the Other, an attraction to strongman leaders. (Another significant predictor of who was drawn to him, incidentally, was hostile sexism.)

If you meant Leonidas of Sparta, then no he wasn't a dictator

en.wikipedia.org...

As the product of the agoge, Leonidas is unlikely to have been referring to his royal blood alone but rather suggesting that he had, like his brother Dorieus, proven superior capability in the competitive environment of Spartan training and society, and that he believed this made him qualified to rule
