Well since it's obvious celebrities like Colin Kaepernick and Bernie Sanders can get away with supporting Fidel Castro I'm asking the Left who's there favorite historical dictator? They can be dead or alive and also list your reasons why you support that person.

Alive: Id have to say little kimmie of North Korea. The dude is awesome at trolling the West. They also have the Nuclear Bomb. But you know since they have no Oil or any Natural Resources worth looting America has conveniently looked the other way. And focused all its efforts on Iran. Because you know we want to prevent Iran from getting the Bomb and will bend over backwards to make a deal with Terrorists, while North Korea who has the Bomb basically says F-uck you to all Sanctions America trys.
Dead: Id have to say the Pharaoh who built the Great Pyramid of Giza. That guy knew how to get s-hit done. Pyramid lasted 5,000+ years and still hasn't been blown up.

None, but if I had to choose.

Bush followed closely by Obama.

Bush because he used the false flag 9/11 attack to embark on a bombing spree.

Obama because he picked up where Bush left off, attacking more Middle Eastern nations and signing some of Bush's worst policies into law (warrant-less spying, indefinite detentions, citizen kill lists, the Patriot Act etc).

By comparison, "Little Kimmie" of North Korea is a Saint.

Oliver Cromwell was the best of the lot, because he genuinely wanted nothing more than the good of the nation, under God's guidance.

I'll go along with Disraeli.

Cromwell. Though he had a strange way of going about it...though my expertise in the matter is sorely lacking.

He yearned to be Mao....but his "Green Book" had all the style and literary eloquence of a junior high production of fiddler on the roof...

At least Mao and pol pot for that matter were good at being bloodthirsty dictators...

Qaddafi was an inbred Stone Age occultist...oops, I mean Islamist....

I was won over by Carlyle's edition of his "Letters and Speeches". He fits Carlyle's defintion of the "Hero", the man who honestly strives to achieve constructively.
