I am a Jedi, an instrument of peace;

Where there is hatred I shall bring love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.

I am a Jedi.

I shall never seek so much to be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

The Force is with me always, for I am a Jedi.

Pretty solid creed honestly...

I happened to stumble across this tonight...

With my tally Anakin is 50/50 on the Jedi code. Closer to 90/10 with the Sith code:

Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.

...his chains weren't broken, but the Force did set him free.

We are all the force. The force is all we are.

Love and Hate will dance,

Suffering and Prosperity follow each other,

Birth, Life and Death will come to us all,

And Light will always reveal the Dark.

And so we sit on the delicate balance of the wire

The Order of the Jedi?

I wonder if there is a Lord of the Rings based religious order too?

Both have occultism embedded in them, which is considered by some to be akin to sorcery and inherently evil, although this is false. Religions are occult in that they have secret orders within the public order, so any competiing philosophy is vilified.

However one chooses to do good is fine with me, if Star Wars is your God or the Force, so be it. As silly as a movie based religion is the movie has religious undertones so is adaptable for that purpose.

Anakin is very close to Anakim, the Biblical Rephaim giant descendants of Anak.

That is obviously based on the prayer of St Francis.
In other word's it is a REAL mystical creed from the christian tradition.

The creed struck me as a Christles Christian copy as you suggest as well.
Funny, many Christians don't need a creed, they choose love

A religion from a tv show, how cool.

Sounds like JEdiSUS.

Careful with the verse not seeking to get consolation because manifesting that verse tends to lead to a manifestation of a need for it in your life to test how serious you are, and you will have ensured no one will be able to console you in your time of grief. We all need each other you guys.

Anyone here who uses facebook notice some users get dozens and dozens of comments getting sympathy or prayers for x condition or tragedy while others going through the same get no response or just a few, when they reveal their plight? Takes a few years to see the pattern as it's not something anyone would notice right away or check for. Some people appear to be just magnets and attract dozens if not hundreds of expressed sympathies from others while others are ignored or get just a few. What's strange is you can actually feel the pull to respond to the person with dozens or so responses already in your newsfeed. But really, what's one more response going to do right? So many are there already and literally everyone said it all. You're at this point only repeating what's already been said. But you can STILL feel the energetic draw to respond. While with others with only a few responses of condolences there's a sense of backing off. Not to respond to them. The question is, is this magic being used in the illusion, the simulated reality we live in? I don't know why cords are hit like this where one is rejected and the other is uplifted,. This is probably the most logical reason why the New Testament advises we don't seek to be consoled because the cards are not dealt fairly and they are aware of that. Have been for a very long time. They don't explain in detail, right, but it feels fairly certain that's the main reason to not seek to be. Facebook is just one example out of many here folks.

Trying to remove the star I gave this post, I liked the first one mentioning the galaxy far far away, thought it was cool, then my phone stuck, then did a weird scroll. And starred this.

The FORCE.

Added:

Ok see there, went back to unstar that post and it gave it 2 stars now. Not my intention. Not trying to go back and unstar the first star again the FORCE wanted me to apparently give a star to.

lol I use to sing the original hymn as a kid at church choir.

Make me a channel:

Make me a channel of your peace.
Where there is hatred let me bring your
love.
Where there is injury, your pardon, Lord
And where there's doubt, true faith in
you.

Chorus:
Oh, Master grant that I may never seek
So much to be consoled as to console
To be understood as to understand
To be loved as to love with all my soul.

Make me a channel of your peace
Where there's despair in life, let me bring
hope
Where there is darkness, only light
And where there's sadness, ever joy.

Chorus:

Make me a channel of your peace
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned
In giving to all men that we receive
And in dying that we're born to eternal
life.

I think Djedi is a different spelling of the Egyptian God of Wisdom (Thoth).

In Ancient Egyptian it is written as "TY-H-T" probably pronounced similar to "Tay-hoo-tee" (Djedi/Tyehuti). Written in Greek as "TH-O-TH".

To the Original Poster:

Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? - Jesus (Matthew 6:26)

The Birds live simple lives, doing little work, yet they are taken care of. Human beings do so much to overwork themselves yet still worry about being "good enough" to be Loved and Taken Care of.

To Give Love is as beautiful as To Receive Love.

Love is Love and God is Love.
