2 things every one needs to know about racism and slavery

1 there is only one race of homo sapiens on this planet while we come in many different hues and we have many different beliefs and customs there is still only one race known to currently exist here.

2 the amendment abolishing slavery did not stop jack. yes it technically made it illegal to own slaves in usa it still goes on in usa . there are sex slaves in all our major cities and quite a dew of are smaller ones too. who here has watched pornos and scene atresses baring exact tats as others from other movies its not because the tats were popular design. they were the brands showing at one time they were owned by same owners. china is a place with wonderful cheap electronics. why is that ? its because they use large amounts of slave labor but everyone overlooks this so on black friday they can get new iphone dirt cheap.

2.The amendment that abolished slavery did abolish widespread slavery and the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s brought an end to the Jim Crow laws and any other such laws (See the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965). What is your evidence of sex slaves in the USA? I understand this is a rant, but really such claims can't be made without someone asking for evidence.

To be fair that doesn't compare to the slavery before the abolishing of slavery in number or ratio to population. The OP acts as if it's entirely the same, but I wonder how blacks feel about that type of thinking.

females were slaves without any rights long after slavery was abolished for black people. Females were only declared to be "people" under the law about 100 years in the UK, Canada and United States. Females could not own property, had to marry where they were told, could be institutionalized on the word of their husbands or fathers or brothers, could not serve in public functions. Men who impregnated an unmarried female had to re-pay their fathers/brothers for the "loss of labor" that such pregnancies caused. And of course, the famous "rule of thumb" wherein the law proscribed that a woman could only be beaten with a stick no thicker than an ordinary man's thumb.

To be fair, considering that females typically comprise over 50 % of the population, perhaps you should actually be asking woman about how they feel about the sex slaves being compared to slavery?

Do you think that white people started slavery? Slavery has been a way of life since, well, since mankind started conquering . There is not one single race that has not been slaves.

Secondly. I agree Jim Crow was still slavery if not worse, it pretty much just gave black people enough freedom to hang themselves. You can't half way right a wrong, and hell I doubt any form of slavery could ever truly be righted.

Lastly sex slaves, human trafficking (even children), is completely disgusting and I can't understand how the government allows such things to still be in existence. With all its executive spying power these things are still allowed to happen.

But I guess with things like PizzaGate and the European government pedo ring the corruption in power just happens to over look it.

And to be fair, there are laws against all kinds of things that get broken on a daily basis. There will always be a black market for everything, which sadly includes human beings. I'm not quite sure what your overall reason for this thread is.

Just an aside. There were more black slaves shipped to South America that was ever shipped to the Northern states. No-one seems to want to remember that.

Are you saying that Americas founders are less evil than the south american founders because at the time their resources did not permit them the ability to purchase a larger quantity of slaves?

NO! What I am saying is the popular trend at the moment, as portrayed in the post, that the only ones that should feel guilt is the USA and UK. The black community keeps coming out with the mantra "we want the USA and the UK to apologize for the slave trade". Yet they never ask any South American countries (at that time Spain and Portugal owned) to apologize and the main perpetrators the ARABS (who have been fetching African slaves for a couple of thousand years and still are) are they asking them to apologize?
It's much easier to lay the guilt trip on white Americans and white British. And that's three extra things people aught to know about slavery.
