There may be a problem with German intelligence being compromised. A 51 year old intelligence officer has been arrested and had partially admitted to the plot. He is reported to have planned to bomb the agencies headquarters. The suspects family had no knowledge of his Islamic beliefs. He also shared sensitive info about the the security agency, and that could spell trouble down the road.

COLOGNE, GERMANY (WeAreChange) — A German intelligence officer has reportedly been arrested over a suspected Islamist plot to bomb his agency’s headquarters in Cologne sparking fears that the agency may be infiltrated.

According to German news source Der Spiegel, the 51 year old partially admitted to the plot.

The suspect attempted to reveal “sensitive information about the BfV (Germany’s domestic security agency), which could lead to a threat to the office”, an official told the newspaper.

“He is accused of making Islamist remarks online under a false name, and offering internal information during chats,” a BfV spokeswoman told AFP.

because its such a peaceful religion, obviously

no radicalization to speak of

its not like ISIS is growing or anything

Come on, those coincidences again.
He "self-radicalized" himself via the telephone...
Then he tried to sell "Verfassungsschutz secrets", "coincidentally" to one of his colleagues, another Verfassungsschutz agent. The very first person he allegedly tried to sell these "secrets" to. Just using another name... But he was clever enough to collect all these data without getting caught. Sure...

And nobody knows yet how they came to the conclusion that he wanted to bomb the Verfassungsschutz HQ in Cologne. Now the prosecution in Düsseldorf says that there is no evidence for any plans of attacks to the Verfassungsschutz. All a bit fishy again.

It seems like the Verfassungsschutz wanted to prove that it is awake, ready to fight anything. But only showed that it is possible for any fool to enter the Verfassungsschutz, to steal their secrets. And only by chance they caught him, because the very first person he talked to was a Verfassungsschutz agent. If someone believes that weired story, then he must come to the conclusion that the Verfassungsschutz is nothing more than a bunch of scouts with too much money and rights, rules by overseas secrets services. Playing exactly the game the overseas need.

Like maybe creating the story of an islamic intruder at the Verfassungsschutz.
First to uphold the bona fide peoples fear:
"If they even can infiltrate the Verfassungsschutz, then there is a bearded terrorist behind every bush and corner, we are all doooooooomed..."

Then to show how glorious the Verfassungsschutz is, because they were able to catch an intruder...
I guess the whole story should be taken with a grain of salt, because it´s...
Secret services, in addition to that german secret services!

Kinda funny, innit? A former banker turned into a V-man in 2016 - how much top secret intel was he able to obtain in a few months anyway?

The BfV has a history of supporting NSU terror, which is why I smell another act of state terror right away. His actions are probably part of a BfV career as agent provocateur and maybe he was just a very non-usefull idiot to be disposed this way.
Or this coup in the US, with different branches plotting against each other, finally arrived in good ol Germany. With the pizzagate wide open, this might be a good time to have an insider spill some beans regarding state sponsored terror.

The plot thickens.
