"These plans, along with explicit threats that the Turkish president has made in recent weeks, have Greece's joint chiefs of staff seriously concerned.

"They are fearful and they have told the political leadership here that if Turkey opens the floodgates yet again, Greece, in its current state of financial and social distress, will not be able to withstand the shock.

"It will spell war or wreak the havoc of one."

What happens if two members of NATO go to war with each other? Do the rest of the members of NATO defend both sides?

I don't see why Western leaders consider Turkey to be a truly civilized country. I believe things such as the following couldn't happen in a civilized society.

MPs in Turkey support bill allowing child rapists to go free if they marry their victim

Turkey's “double game” on ISIS and support for extremist groups highlighted after horrific Istanbul attack

It could be that Turkey is considered to be a civilized country on the world stage simply because the world is in such a state that "civilized" doesn't mean much of anything anymore.

best bioweapon ever invented.

Once trump and Putin exchange olive branches turkey's strategic interest is much diminished. Then nato can kick them.

In the long game Russia needs the west to prevent china from gobbling up siberia.

It isn't just Greece Erdogan is threatening. He's been holding that gun to all of Europe's head for nearly two years. It's why I think he was able to accomplish his political purge after what I believe was his fake coup with little to no consequences.

The writers of the NATO charter didn`t include plans for what to do if 2 NATO members were at war with each other because NATO was never suppose to include members who had such extremely different values, principles and goals.
NATO doesn`t want to admit that they made a huge mistake by allowing Turkey to join.

The answer is simple

Kick Turkey out of NATO and return all the refugees to Turkey. Drop them by parachute if necessary.

See how they deal with a million plus of their fellow coreligionists.

We are always told that charity is a fundamental part of Islam so let them practice charity for their own

Greece's unemployment rate is 23.3%

Thats about 2.5 million people with little to do.

Place them at the spot where the Turkey immigrants plan to enter, but first give them weapons if it is indeed war.

It's gotten ridiculous. Shipping thousands of people to a country torn by financial strife and conflict of the already there immigrants. No, it's beyond ridiculous, it's INSANE.

As what point are people going to act? What the hell does it take?

The other members of Nato will support whoever the US, tells them to support.

The prospect of war in Europe again must must excite George Soros no-end because it will result in lots of deaths (more depopulation), rubble and another broken state (Greese) and others in the short to medium term.

His own kind in that very small but very powerful country in the middle east will be wildly ecstatic over the broken states and rubble. Another country for them to 'help rebuild.'

It´s simple!
If there are coming another 2 or 3 millions of refugees because Erdolf send them, Europe should send one Erdolf supporter, that lives in one of the western "democracies", back for every new coming refugee. Not the average european people with turkish roots, but that radical Erdolf supporters that prefer dictatorship before western lifestyle.
I mean, if they protest and celebrate their Führer Erdolf, it must be the dream of them to live in Erdolfistan, or not?
So at the end, everybody would be where he wants to be...

There's a big effort in multiples places around the world right now to hasten the goals implementation before Trump comes to power.

Maybe they think they can delay his arrival or cripple the situation so much he wouldnt be able to do anything..

times are no longer interesting..

times are scary!

Maybe...

But it is unlikely that the restored Emperor would be a political figure. If the Byzantine (or Eastern Roman) Emperor would be restored he would likely be a religious figure and head of the Eastern Orthodox (and possibly also the autocephalous) Churches, being placed above the various Patriarchs and analogous to the Pope in function.
