The Blue Lodge is the main part of Masonry. Once you become a Master Mason you are free to join the side organizations such as Scottish Rite. The Scottish Rite, like the other groups, has its own leadership.

I can see the common sense wisdom in that, like having the mold for a key, you can pretty much make sure the key produced is of compatible standard.

I suppose I could have asked google but that's probably why I'm a bit confused...

You could look at it that way. The Scottish Rite covers the same tenets as the Blue Lodge, they just use morality plays that you view instead of an actual degree where the candidate participates in them.

As far a s numbers are concerned... god is apparent in the number 5.
Which to the masons is just a lesson. Five is perfect master. In the PERFECTION of the world... there is numbers. As long as you can count properly... you are perfect. In everyway.
The art of mathematics comes to mind..... it is represented by "Aftermath!"


There isn't very far to go in such a lesson. From 4 to 5. You are perfect. But there is an aftermath. An experience... good or not. The more you endure it... the more you can count.
As for god... he is not a number. He is not a fool. He is a watcher. Count your calamities.... and surrender to them. Suffer them.... and the you'll be experienced.

5 is cool...... perfection is cool.... and also.... so is counting again and again. Aftermath.

Hopefully... at some point... you may understand that.... it never ends. If god, the despiser of cowards, finds favor in you.... you may yet be blessed.

One mason has pointed out that Masonry doesn't deal in numerology, yet your rebuttal is that they are afraid.
