I am board with life

I was bored and wanted an adventure once too.

I quit my job, loaded up a backpack, and bought a 2 way trip to Maui. I had a blast there! I camped out in the jungle, ate from the land and the ocean for free, and had all kinds of adventures. I stayed on three different sailboats, one being a famous racing schooner from the 30s. I worked in 3 resturants, where I made lots of friends. I surfed and speared fish. I also had some romance there.

Here is the Mistress I crewed on She is a 77 foot racing Schooner with teak and red velvet throughout. My bunk was all velvet, with velvet curtains





This new restoration shows after the teak decks were covered with a material.

I also grew flowers for a year in the Big Island jungle.

You can't starve with food dropping on your head.

It was a great year long adventure. Made some money too.

Also, no snakes in Hawaii...So there's that.

Move.. just pack your backs and move.
I did it, went from +40c to -40c.

While some are familiar with the expression: "Only boring people get bored"; there is a sector near downtown, where some folks like to bore, and other folks like to get bored.

Over at the hardware store: some people go out of their way to get boards.

At the Hockey rink: bored broads hop the boards, with dreams of being professionally bored.
And bored professionals, bang boards, and bore broads, beyond belief.

Because: board-banging, and broad-banging boring buggers, become barefaced belligerent barf-breaths; better backup before beer becomes banned, but blessed boring brewskis.

But...

Well, being that you're posting on this "board" can't you find way to get around being "bored". Here or otherwise on the interwebs.

There's so much to do here and irl, *shrugs*, never figured how someone can be bored. Though, can understand if your time is locked into work and the daily routine it can sure feel that way.

If you want more excitement, go find it. There's plenty of things available out there.

Life's excitements aren't going to find you unless you go find them. If you want a James Bond lifestyle, get fit and apply to NAVY SEALS or SAS.

You're so bored that you can't even be bothered to look up the correct spelling for what you want to say.

Obviously, you don't. People who have that spark just get out and do it, instead of whining as to why they can't.
