Four ISIS gunmen were killed today after they opened fire on Israeli soldiers in their first attack on the occupied Golan Heights.
The Israeli soldiers were targeted with machine gun fire and mortars but were unhurt and fired back.
But the gunmen - believed to come from a group called Shuhada al-Yarmouk, which is affiliated to ISIS - were killed by an Israeli air strike on their vehicle.
Israel Defence Force spokesman, Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lerner, said the soldiers were from the Golani Brigade.
Not sure if this is a sign of things to come or just a splintered off group biting off more than they can chew. It is very strange that ISIS aren't in a hurry to attack Israel in ways they have apparently attacked Europe and other areas around the world.

No link?
I think if Israel did engage ISIS no arab government would object with the exception of Syria, Iran and Hezbollah.

They been getting along famously up till now. Maybe some of the insurgents in Syria didn't get the aid they were promised at the Israeli border. Could this be a rumbling of decreasing support?
Relations in the past...

ISIs hasn't engaged Israel is the biggest tell of all. This is not proof ISIS is attacking Israel. More like a meeting or aid delivery gone wrong.

Actually they have. Several attacks on Israeli forces in the Golan by ISIS have occurred.

Could be right there. The fact is there are so many factions in Syria that western media and government agencies can scream till the cows come home that the support isn't going to ISIS instead it is going to 'moderate rebels'. There is no such thing. Those groups are all in one. The same thing. It's a ploy. It has people fooled and gives plausible deniability.
Anyone who does a bit of research will probably come to a similar conclusion.
