You are starting to get it. Now realize the NATIONAL popular vote has nothing to do with each individual STATE popular vote.

Each state gets its own electors. They are not federally appointed, they are chosen.

Again, the nation consists of 50 sovereign states in a union.

I don't understand how you don't grasp the concept of the EC. It's NOT one group of 538 people. It's 50 INDIVIDUAL groups broken into specific numbers based on population per state with 2 given to each state for senatorial votes.

Each individual EC group WILL vote with their conscience of their state's popular vote. The US is comprised of 50 individual states.

It seems to be the inability to understand higher order concepts, such as 50 individual states comprise a "United States" of America. In this particular case, we are NOT a single country. That is the purpose of the federal system, not the state system. The EC is responsible within a state system, not a federal system.

For the record, my candidate didn't win either. But, I accept that fact, and have moved on to try to work within the legal results of the established election process of MY country. We get another shot in 4 years. Until then, it is work at the local and state level to assist in that 4 year goal.

That is how it works in the real world.

For the record, I don't have a Twitter account and never will. I do not read reddit either. I read/watch mutliple new sources both inside and outside America. I then distill it down to the common pieces and decide for myself what constitutes truth and "fake news".

This whole, fake news issue stems from the lack of investigative news consumption because it it not wrapped in a 140 character limit and takes too much time to collate for many of these people. Sorry, you want the truth, then you need to find it, as it will not be provided by the MSM in total. The last trusted man in the MSM was Walter Cronkite IMO. He is gone...and with him went journalistic integrity.

It will not happen. I have read everyone of your posts throughout the thread. Most receive no stars and I saw a few that had one star though I might have missed a couple. I know we don't post for stars but there is a reason you are not getting any stars on your posts. You are not striking a cord. You are not speaking for anyone here. No one believes in what you are preaching and i have to think deep down you don't either. Your desperation was called for weeks ago before the insulted and under valued of america cast their vote. You said trump would only accept the results if he won and he did win. The clinton machine was appalled at the idea he might not accept the results if he lost and here you stand displaying the very attitude they thought trump and his supporters would have. you must see the irony. i know the whole outcome comes to a shock to you as much as it does to all of us. It's time to accept it like those diehard clinton supporters who aren't starring your posts. rebuild the party and never bring such a weak candidate as hillary clinton to the ticket again. you want change that is the way, not by changing the rules at the end of the game or begging for the referee for one more second on the clock to throw one last impossible hail mary. change the gameplan and consider the past just well.....the past.
