One anti-Musk website—”Stop Elon From Failing Again” launched earlier this year with the mission of becoming a “one-stop database on stopping Elon Musk.
At least three sites have run negative pieces about Musk—by a nonexistent writer named “Shepard Stewart”—that include “Elon Musk Continues to Blow Up Taxpayer Money With Falcon 9” and “Elon Musk: Faux Free Marketeer and National Disgrace.” Two later retracted the stories.
We don't need a bunch of unestablished (especially without scientific background) individuals trying to tell citizens how American entrepreneurs should operate.

Prediction:
People here won't care if it's fake news, because they will rationalize the mere potential of wrongdoing as giving them righteous cause for the witch hunt. If nothing is found, no problem! Attention will soon focus on the next victim.

There is nothing fake about what was written? Why do ignorant people love to throw labels around?
Also, as your own article states; it was launched earlier this year. So it has nothing to do with "Hillary being out of the way".
Already grossly subsidized, Musk’s SolarCity has become an albatross of waste, fraud, and abuse of tax payer dollars. As legitimate earnings and cash become even scarcer for SolarCity, its entanglement in the Tesla empire suggests that a drastic reckoning not only is imminent, but in fact emboldening Musk to become more outlandish and reckless.

This "fake news" crap is a red herring. Sure there's fake news, on both sides, but what can you do about it? Censorship is against free speech and freedom of the press. Who gets to decide what's fake and what isn't? Is there truly an impartial way to do that?
