OOps, looks like CNN accidentally aired some porn.

Fake news station CNN, which has been caught trying to push the narrative of the Trump protest by using their own cameraman in a staged interview with a “random protester, accidentally aired 30 minutes of porn instead of it’s scheduled program “Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown.”

Looks like Boston was the only city that was exposed to the video. This may have been more informative than the news they peddle.

The only known city that received the broadcast was Boston.

“Did anyone else with RCN in Boston see the hardcore porn that was broadcast by CNN by mistake?” Asked Twitter user @solikearose . “Vague update from RCN on the #BourdainPorn incident: everything ‘working perfectly,’ can’t tell how many households affected.” according to the Independent.

So the proof that this happened is a Tweet by a Trump supporter named "Jenna Abrams" with 64k followers? Do you even know if Jenna Abrams is a real person? She must be, because she has a picture of an attractive female and a WordPress blog.

That tweet btw was only retweeted about 80 times (relatively few in the grand scheme of things). Boston has a population of 650k (inside city limits) and the greater Boston metropolitan area has a population of nearly 5 million people.

One person noticed half an hour of transexual porn allegedly broadcast at 10-10:30?

Come on.

I would like to see the chain of events that led to this being aired. It has to be a bunch of clowns doing the least amount of work.
OR
It was done intentionally.

Maybe somebody hacked the CNN programming system.

Another possible way this happened.

We are talking CNN, one person is a large audience.

First, CNN in no more FAKE news than almost all other news outlets out there.
Two, at this point the only googling I did to find other sources than that which you provide, are for the most part part of the ANTI-CNN echo-chamber.

What I did find was this.
variety.com...

Though your headline does say 'accidentally' by coupling it with the dogmatic insinuation FAKE, the onus is placed on CNN rather than on the 'accidental' event caused by the Boston cable operator RCN. To me, it looks like you yourself are airing 'fake news'

Good points, CNN is aggressively going after Trump, and they were horrible to watch during the loss that Hillary was handed. It was very obvious that they were not objective.

I welcome your opinion, but disagree,

The Variety article also states that RCN is denying it happened. It also shows that their source was "online reports" which is basically saying "rumors on the Internet."

I'd be willing to bet this didn't happen at all, that a few social media accounts posted an image and then it was echoed by WRC and the like and the next thing you know, Variety is talking about it.

Now it's here on ATS be presented not only as a fact, but as material to deride CNN some how. Now lets all whine about how some website said Russian propaganda is reliably repeated on ATS...

Well, their viewership has been way down, you could even say if I may paraphrase, "down low."

There was no staged interview. The guy had not worked for CNN in years. Ironic, fake news in a thread with fake news in the title.

Odd, in regard to the porn. Bourdain's show is really good, btw.

What was the point of this thread again?

It was such a staged interview that Don Lemon admitted that he knew the guy and gave his name. That's a helluva a "staged" interview.

Yet people are running around like they uncovered something that Don Lemon said IN THE MIDST OF THE INTERVIEW. Lol.

Come on there is a half hour of porn on CNN and you think oh well.

I imagine they will get some viewers now, well for a little while. Like they say any publicity is good publicity.

And the fake news with the interviews was a complete set up, you can continue to think that it was a coincidence, but the anchor man said it all.

I think this thread deserves to be in the HOAX bin. If it really happened, there should have been more than one report of it. Most probably it is just made up, or the complainant switched in the TV after her husband/kid forgot to switch off the porn video he was watching.

Surely many of us are disappointed by the lack of objectivity in media. You are, I am and I would guess that most of us here who visit ATS are also. This does not mean though that we will help the problem of media bias by pointing out only those perceived to hold a 'liberal' bias as did that article a few days ago about Ron Paul's ''Fake New Sources''.

By posting the word Fake, you are helping to perpetuate a piece of propaganda established to advance the meme that only non-conservative outlets are fake. Propaganda works just as well by omitting things as presenting true ones.

What's really interesting it to take the image from the Tweet and then Google image search it. Let's see who was "reporting on this":

Life.RU
uznayvse.RU
Informing.RU
Nur.KZ
24.HU
PolitExpert.net (Russian language)

Also, Deccan Chronicle (Indian news site) and [url=http://www.mogaznews.com/en/World-News/261275.html]Mogaz News [/url (no idea but they cited Daily Mail) and finally SFGate (that's what was indexed so far by Google for that image).

Looks like it made it to Daily Mail, Hollywood Reporter and Independent UK as well. The original source of the image and the only person who has actually made the claim to having seen this was a Twitter user with 80 or so followers (@solikearose).

Welcome to information warfare.

And sadly there are many ready to lap it up like a baby at a nipple.

And then the ones who won't admit their mistake and still insist that the story they're disseminating isn't fake news.
