How particular is the Marines ? (from ATSNN), page 1

Have the marines made errors before? Where they anythign to do with taking a multi-billion dollar machine in weather that it is not intended to be used in? The ANSWER IS NO !!!!!

BAGHDAD, Iraq (Jan. 26) -- A U.S. military transport helicopter crashed in bad weather in Iraq's western desert Wednesday, killing 31 people, all believed to be Marines, while insurgents killed five other American troops in the deadliest day for U.S. forces since the Iraq war began.

The CH-53 Sea Stallion was carrying personnel from the 1st Marine Division when it went down about 1:20 a.m. near the town of Rutbah, about 220 miles west of Baghdad, while conducting security operations, the military said in a statement.

Why wouldn't they give information that they know is true beyond a shadow of a doubt ?

In the bottom paragraph that was posted from the original text it states that the helicopter was a CH-35 ... I bet they have a serial Number on it and who exactly was in it. If you have ever just tried to get a helicopter off of the ground without any clearance it is impossible in the Military. People know exactly where and what each billion dollar machine is doing. They would never put the machine in an environment that was not suitable for the craft. I am almost possitive that they have done many researches on this machine to see what durability that is has. Why would they put a machine with 31 men aboard it to somewhere that was in a situation that could become intolerable such as this one?

SOMETHING WAS GOING ON IN Rutbah or near there. Does anyone have any additional information on anything going on in Rutbah ?/? It would be appetizing if you could help out ...

As always this is just a thought ... but something about this caught my eye!

Don't know but it is about 80 miles from the Syrian and Jordanian borders.
