They may be nuts whoever they are, but a lack of bulk evidence doesn't mean you should instantly dismiss the theory of there being a secret space programme.

I did say I thought you were lazy, it's a very lazy thread with vagaries and if you are a 'serious UFO researcher' then you could've fooled me, because you seem to have a very closed mind, which I don't think you can afford to have especially in the study of UFO's.

I don't recall saying you were stupid as I don't know you, but apologies if you get that impression

And you have read many cases....so how can you believe any of them? Many ATS members have already posted credible evidence to show real possible cases of UFOs, their sitings and witness claims...so far what you have posted are hypotheses...not that it is a bad thing to keep an open mind but at the same time I cannot get over the fertilizer requests. The best form of fertilizer request (or theft) is semen from male humans to create hybrid aliens or other things...but this has yet to be proven true. Until then a lot of things are hoaxes unless hard evidence is presented to us.

There are probably thousands of stories such as this, which contain an element
of the "absurd"; but most of those would be so-called fairy tales and other
"golden age" "UFO" stories.

Some stories like this have been heavily researched, and supposedly there is
at times trace evidence.

But of course anything can be debunked.. even that we exist and are alive
in the manner we think we are.

Just a public service announcement.

I feel great sympathy for anyone posting in the Aliens and UFOs forum.
It's a tough crowd, msyelf included.

In a way, studying the more bizarre stories may yield some interesting information.
Its always worth remembering that in less mechanically minded times these would really have been considered as faery stories. Not in the sense we use the term today, but the idea of an "otherworld", complete with unusual inhabitants was once a popular way to explain highly strange goings on when no conventional explanation was at hand.

I'm not sure who, what, why, when or where but somebody has put an awful lot of effort into trying to convince us that space aliens is THE one and only answer to ALL these events.

I'm really not sure that I believe them.

Because no real solid credible footage has been documented (or has but has also been "hushed" with extreme censorship) it will be very difficult to assume/speculate what these "alien beings" look like.

If they are great using cloaking technology to hide their spacecraft, who knows if they use cloaking technology to walk among us too.

What if they aren't "humanoid"?

What if they look reptilian, or something from the extreme mutated nature of beings?

GMO food consumption --> GMO humans --> evolution of human characteristics --> new form of humanoid/alien?

People forget it's OK to just have a conversation about weird reports without it turning into CSI with links and "evidences".

I agree with you there are many cases where "alleged" alien visitors have done some outlandish stuff. Like you I find it interesting behavior and no I don't think the witnesses were lying.

I think modern humans are in the UFO dark ages in their understanding of the Phenomenon. Earlier cultures may have understood parts of it better.

Though prior cultures were mostly scientifically ignorant.

If we could use all sources of information plus do improved research we could maybe leave these ignorant dark ages,

Rather than be lead around by the UFO delusion.

Enjoy the stories indeed, but not on ATS. I don't like to enjoy stories unless they happened for real, or there was a chance it did occur and it came with credible footage.
