Hamilton ... Oh, you mean that prime example of leftists culturally appropriating history?

Can you tell me that if a bunch of white people made a play about Selma and cast all white people in it that the left wouldn't be all butthurt over it, but creating Hamilton is awesome and edgy and wonderful ...

It's funny to see how some people respond to art

Hamilton is awesome and edgy and wonderful. Kids - of all kinds - are singing these songs out loud all over the country. Along with their parents

Your discomfort is nothing but sour grapes - black people are Americans Ketsuko - they didn't appropriate anything

The very day someone writes a brilliant musical about slavery, and uses white people to play the roles of slaves - I will be first in line to buy a ticket. You know why? Because - that would be really saying something - don't you think?

You know what else? I think you would probably whine about that too

Leader of movement that was largely built on rejection of political correctness and a hatred of SJW nonsense... Tweets this two hours ago:

Hilarious.

But really where have we seen the cast of something act like this? Was their something they thought Mike missed? Was what they said to Mike germain to any part of the production? And they would have been called racist or something it the shoe was on the other foot. They have Trumps response coming.

Did Pence complain about this?

If not, what is the issue?

Remember that rodeo clown? Yeah, no one does because he was banned for life.

That's why we must always defend free expression and not deny it. Let's let the leftists who ban things look bad.

Let's allow those who stand for freedom always stand for freedom.

What does any of that have to do with their First Amendment rights? Or are we selective about who gets to express their opinions now based upon arbitrary labels?

Trump's response coming? If his response is anything other than "They have a right to say what they want" then those who support such a statement can just stop pretending that they either give a damn about the Constitution or even understand it.

Safe spaces... I can't stop laughing.

There doesn't have to be an issue

Just something for us to think about

:-)

Trump has an issue with it though - even more for us to think about

Yes, exactly that. Isn't it amazing that they can cry about both sides of a coin. "Waahhh they don't assimilate!" "Waaahhhh Hamilton wasn't black!"

Certainly not staffed with anyone who respects free expression.

Ahh but you are alone in defending it because since Trump won the over authoritative side of the right wing has been exposed.

You didn't even get a star from your comrades because deep down they disagree with fundamental rights applying to everyone not like them.

This is exactly what we warned you about while you dilly dallied over who was worth a vote.

Instead you spent much of your time whining about the imaginary gulags that were coming.

Now your Dear Leader is demanding safe spaces.
Bet you never saw that coming. 😂😂😂

Yeah, the 'theaters must be safe' comment is so ironic it almost seems like it could have been a hoax except it came from his real Twitter account.

Someone get him a safety pin.

Yeah - obviously we have a problem here - reactionary contradictions

I'm at a loss lately. I swear - all I can think to say anymore is: can't we all just get along?

But - guess not - some people got their panties in a bunch so bad that I'm not sure they can even really articulate why they're so mad. They just are

Also - thank you for capturing my typo :-)

I don't care. I'll defend what I think is the right thing to do.

It's not a group-think thing.

I think Trump's reaction is hypocritical.

I also think the actors were dicks.

I also also think free speech/free expression should be applied freely.

I also also also think the if Hillary had won, freedom would have lost.

I also also also also think cherry ice cream is the best thing in the world.

Are you aware of what we're talking about even?

You mean talking about whiners now ruining entertainment for everyone and to the detriment of their platform ?
Yeah, I do...The play's ticket sales will speak the loudest believe me.
It's entertainment NOT a political rally.

That quote may have started in Ford's Theatre.
