Prostitutes have come together to create an Internet forum for adult escorts in the United Kingdom to share their experiences and contact information of untrustworthy, sketchy clients.

Saafe is the name of the website, and topics range from “Blather and Babble,” where escorts can discuss the “less serious side of escorting,” to “Politics and Academic/Media queries.”

I skimmed over the forum before creating this thread. It's apparent that these people have pathetic lives. Sometimes prostitution is glamorized in Western society, but in my view it's kind of sick to get paid for sex. I'm not exchanging bodily fluids with anyone without a deep attraction. I question it even then sometimes.

I'm glad for the prostitutes that they have a place like Saafe to meet. They should do everything they can to make their profession safer. The problem is that there really isn't much they can do most of the time at the end of the day.

Nice when do we get a website to rate our prostitutes?

There are websites for rating both. Welcome to the internet. Have you been in a medically induced coma for 10 years?

Sick? Why sick? Have you a logical argument or just a moral rant?

Getting paid for it and paying for it has existed for 10s of thousands of years. You are a bit behind on this whole thing.

The Erotic Review Is probably the biggest one for reviews of escorts.

I try to make my opening posts provocative. Those were the first thoughts that I had that I thought may get a reaction on this topic. It worked!

On another note...

I'm reading that forum, and I can't believe how boring it is. I feel like I was hit with a ton of bricks made of pure banality.

Kind of like what the "Companions" would do in the sci-fi series Fire Fly.

It's apparent to you that they have pathetic lives. One shouldn't generalize.
Sometimes (consenting) prostitution is glamorized, why not? Is it really that much worse than other things glamorized?
But, you say that you are glad for the prostitutes, are you really? You seem a little smug, regarding, in your type.

You certainly are in my opinion provocative in your threads, occasionally, so you win there.

I, personally from your posting history and my take on it, think that you have issues with women, the things they say, do, react to and of course that's just my opinion but, you come across to me, at least, as being an angry person (even if hidden within your words).

I am glad also that they have a place that they can feel safe and hopefully be safer as a result of.
People have paid for sex for a long time and, although it's sad to some, it will continue on.

I'd say you should do some research before making statements like that. Starting with a comparison between sheltered independent sex workers (like escorts, etc) and the general populace of the same age group when it comes to HIV and a few of the other biggies. You'd be surprised.

Most metro areas have a "bad john" service where you can report dangerous or just plain bad clients. There are also sites that sex workers voluntarily participate in where clients can review them, as well.

It's one of the oldest professions and is pretty damned legitimized/normalized in a lot of cities. Registering for these sites as a sex worker can sometimes feel like applying for a job, some even requiring references and hoops to jump through.

there is PROBALLY a 3rd party website to rate ATS members - though linking too // discussing it will no doubt violate the ATS site T&C

Not everybody has your low drive. Many people have a need to intimately connect, physically, with others. And some of them are left without that opportunity and are willing to pay for it. Simple as that.
