We'd get in the ballpark of comparison if Obama had hired Rev Jeremiah Wright as his Chief Strategist and if all through Obama's campaign he had promised to abolish the second Amendment and get the guns. And if he had pointed to Republicans and said "These are not good people folks. These are not good people. These are the people hurting this country." And if he had encouraged violence at his rallies and offered to defend you in court for punching a protestor.

Obama was nothing like Trump, though the Right certainly projected it. If Obama had promised to bring Sharia Law to the U.S.-- or if audio came out saying he could grab women by the p###y.

Add all that and Obama would be in the ballpark.

Minus that, there's no comparison.

You're right. Trump is 10 times better than Obama. And that's even after acknowledging Trump was a horrible choice that never should have been on the ballot.

The funny thing is that people still blame Bush after 8 years of Obama and are blaming Trump when he isn't even sworn in yet.

It's like Obama has been blameless for the past 8 years and is blameless for any future time.

Delusion doesn't even describe it.

MANY OF TRUMPS MAJOR POLICY INITIATIVES IF YOU NOTICE SEEM TO DEAL WITH HURTING PEOPLE RATHER THAN HELPING ANYONE. IT’S A VERY REACTIONARY AND INHUMANE SET OF POLICIES

Throwing out 11 million people

Banning a religion with almost 2 billion world-wide followers

Building a wall over Mexico

Murder terrorist relatives

Water board

Who will benefit from any of these policies save the deep police state?

Trump failed the first test just as Obama did 8 years ago when he got in with all that hope and change rhetoric and proceeded to choose the same old people who do the same old establishment destruction and protection of the criminal class of oligarchs…

Trump is choosing the same old kind of establishment people who will be only, since their from the GOP, destructive to ordinary people. But they all are by their nature again in office to protect the powerful and deceive the weak!

Trump’s next test for him, Obama didn’t have this test because we knew he was at least sane and sober but Trump may be crazy as he sounds and dangerous to the world because of his ignorance and bad nature….

He may try to deliberately murder relatives of known terrorists

Bring back water boarding

Deport 11 million people

Ban Muslims or create a registry of them

He may attempt to steamroll third world countries with trade wars

The best we can hope for is that Trump doesn't do any of these crazy ideas and backs off of them and becomes the traditional do-nothing republican. Of course the do-nothing republicans often turn into do-something fascists such as Bush's 911 false flag and the consequent Iraq holocaust.

Another danger is the GOP plan to cut or privative SS, Medicaid and or Medicare.

We will have a right-wing SCOTUS that will in itself devastate the country

Privatizing social security would be nice.

I'm not expecting to see a dime and I've been paying into it for over 40 years.

I'd love to be wrong. I'd love to see something positive come out of the Trump admin. So far just douche bags on the rise. There is nothing good and inspiring coming from there... Tweets about SNL, tweets about Hamilton... just a little tweeting b#tch.

I'm with you.

I'm trying to be practical/logical and pragmatic.

But, I still feel like this is a huge mistake

I felt that way about Obama in 2008. (Still do)

But I gave Obama the benefit of the doubt, to prove me wrong.

Didn't take long, but I still didn't start protesting until after he was in power.

I see zero comparison between Obama and Trump.

What was so horrific about Obama to fear him?

Hs absolute inexperience running anything, his community agitator background, his lack of executive skill, his pariah speeches, people fawning all over his name, his stupidity about Russia invading Georgia, his opinion on the Constitution as a charter of negative liberties, his socialist background, his connection to Bill Ayers... shall I go on?

Pariah speeches?

So, as with Trump -- who has zip experience -- not just inexperience, zip.

Obama picks his team of those he needs in areas he might be week.

Trump picks extreme Right Radicals.

Trump worshippers apparently OK

Why do you expect to not see a dime.

If you get sick you have disability rights, if you retire you have money there. If you die or get sick your children have many options to take advantage of SS benefits

Its actually A GREAT PROGRAM

It's run out of money. Social Security funds will be gone in less than a decade.

Every dime I paid in, stolen and misspent by government.

F#ck them.

Have you read the PNAC written by Cheney, Rumsfeld and a few others?

Invade Iraq, steal their oil, world domination.

They just miscalculated a "bit"

Of course the mess in the Middle East is the fault of the Bush administration.

The expense of the war was never included in Bush's president expenses.

But,the expense of clean up was dumped on Obama.

The Bush years strongly affected Obama's years.

The thing about Obama was that he was not dumb and horribly natured like Trump is just that he was a typical puppet politician for the elite as they all are.

And as time WillTell Trump will join the members in unity and submission to the deep state ruling class, plus he’s an immoral dummy.

To hear these stupid people say Trump dealt a blow to the NWO is a joke...

Btw there’s NO ONE on this site who has written as many OP’s in criticism of Obama than I

Obama like Hillary is just a career organizational politician and Trump is new blood they’ll have in their pocket in no time flat like the dimes and nickels in your pocket

I agree they are all part of a larger play.

But, I don't know how long Trump can help himself - - from being Trump.

And your precious Trump isn't?

He hasn't had that briefing yet - - you know the one where they emerge looking like they aged a hundred years.
