A 15 year old boy fired a 22 rifle into a neighboring home and streamed it live on facebook, he said he thinks here maybe someone home in the house he shot into.

He said he did it cause he was bored.

Charged with firing into an occupied home, and discharging a firearm in city limits.

He is held in Juvenal det.

Terrible thing to do, is he lost, or can he be salvaged?

AKRON, Ohio (AP) — Police have arrested an Ohio teen who they say broadcast himself shooting a rifle into his neighbor's home on Facebook Live because he was bored.

The unidentified 15-year-old Akron boy was charged Wednesday night with discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, discharging a firearm within city limits and an illegal weapons offense.

Police say he live-streamed a series of disturbing, profanity-laced videos, in which he's seen playing with guns and laughing.

In one of the videos, the boy acknowledges that someone might be home next door before firing a .22-caliber rifle into the residence from his window.

The boy reportedly lives with his grandmother in the city's Highland Square neighborhood. He remains held at the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center.

Police are trying to figure out how the teen obtained the guns

Will he still get a participation trophy?

ETA:
I mean he didn't win, but he did participate.
So he should get a trophy.
That's how we do it today.

It makes good sense, you just have to think. Try it sometime.

In case you have not heard, in the last 10 years or so, kids on both teams get trophies in sports, whether they win or lose. It is part of the whole "everyone is a winner". What this does is set kids up for failure down the road. Sometimes you LOSE, and losing builds character and you learn from it.

In the context of this thread, it makes very good sense. It's a shame you can't draw the lines.

No walls of text will make you see it. No point.

This news though(back to the OP) shows guns are not the issue. Culture/society is.

Daydreaming......I remember hearing there was an ant that when someone is stung it feels like the stung person was shot.

Well....

I guarantee this person won't ever be that bored again.

There are only 2-3 comments to the OP so far. The rest is right wing hijacking.
That is my point.
Moving on.

Probably because concerning the crime and the individual involved, people are not surprised anymore? It is part of a bigger issue.

I support a woman's right to choose.
I oppose drug laws.
I support freedom of speech.
How am I a 'right winger'?

My post refers to the fact that this criminal act will go largely unpunished.

The kid is a danger to society.
At best, he will be kept in Juvenile Detention until he is 18, learning from other delinquents. Then he will be unleashed upon society so that he may continue to do bad things.

It is actually called the "Bullet Ant". It is a big black ant, whose bite feels like you have been shot, and the pain last for over 24 hours.
