Sometimes T & C are such a hindrance.

Your ahem concern is noted.

Trumps victory?

America's defeat.

So sad.

I had so badly overestimated the American people's intelligence.

I won't make that mistake again.

Thanks for baiting the thread btw.

No, you mean Progressives defeat.
If Trump does deliver jobs and a higher standard of living in inner cities then it's not just defeat for Progressives, but the end of it.

I will not worry too much about CNN and neither of the other corporate whores conglomerates, obviously they thought they could manipulate public opinion and dictate elections results but the real people in this nation gave them the finger to their media bias fixed pro Hilary campaign and their manufactured poll results.

The are nothing but crap and America show them how much they trusted them, they no longer will be take seriously.

And if he doesn't? Will that be the defeat of Conservatism?

P.s. he won't

If you do not think he is capable of launching America's ultimate defense he is not qualified to be President.

Honestly? No !

You know yourself DJW, it dont matter who is at the helm. But it is not clearly the agenda. I beleive for once America is getting itself back on track, and the only way to make it work is with total, if not at least 75% support to make it happen.

The ol' addage.." Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer ".

So either way, America as a whole needs to support this 'blow in', give him a chance and see what happens.

What else do we have to lose.

p.s. and i'm an australian, living in australia, and i care.

Here is what we should consider:

The football and the Bisket have been around since Eisenhower and modified through out the years. Various presidents, since the advent of the nuclear age have had to weigh heavily the use of such weapons and the options that go along with it. With far more countries having nuclear weapons, the use is something that is usually relegated to a weapon of last resort, and never the first option on the table.

First of all there is no button that the president pushes, but the command codes to authorize the use of nuclear weapons are only in the hands of the president, and his alone. Not even a general can authorize its use, only the sitting president has that authority. Though it does require that there is a second peson namely, the Secretary of Defense to confirm the actual launch of a nuclear weapon, though it should be noted, that the Secretary does not have the legal authority to veto the use, only approve or disapprove of its use.

What the Football is, and why it is important, it is a case, that is leather bound, that contains, some of the codes, the main codes being in an envelope that is on him 24/7, which is the bisket, a few manuals, a list of options and a secure communications device.

In the event of a nuclear strike on the country, the president has a max of 4 to 8 minutes to make a decision to either launch or not launch a counter strike. If the reports are true, on some of the weapons that either are in development or have been developed, it could be about 2 to 4 minutes to make a decision.

If the President decides to launch, then he has to open the bisket and the football, look at the options, and then send the authorization to the commanders who will then carry out his instructions, including the kind of response and location.

Why is the football and the bisket so important, well it is a list and location of every nuclear weapon the USA has in its arsenal and the launch codes, hence why we should be a bit worried about such.

How ridiculous. Especially when one considers Hillarys foreign policy would have led to a shooting war with Russia. Probably China too.

Funny isn't it ,how CNN and the rest have now actually become the conspiracy sites....I guess it then follows that they too should be added to the FAKE NEWS LIST also.

National geographic has been playing shows about the JFK assassination all day. I can't help bit think these are just more attempts at conditioning people with the idea of presidential assassination.

One of the shows was even claiming Kennedy was trying to work with Fidel Castro and team up with soviet union or something like that.

How Inept is CNN becoming Nowadays ?

CNN Accidentally Falsely Admits It Aired Pornography for 30 Minutes on Thanksgiving

Late Thursday evening on Thanksgiving, a Twitter user in the Boston area reported that CNN was airing hardcore pornography for 30 minutes through local provider RCN. The original report on those Tweets surfaced in The Independent, a leading left-of-center newspaper based in the United Kingdom. From there, the story spread like wildfire to many other media outlets including Variety magazine, the U.K. Daily Mail, the New York Post, Esquire magazine and Mashable, among others.

Eventually, CNN actually confirmed that it did air “inappropriate content” and was seeking an “explanation” from RCN.

“The RCN cable operator in Boston aired inappropriate content for 30 minutes on CNN last night. CNN has asked for an explanation,” CNN said in its statement, seemingly confirming the impropriety.

Even pornography websites like Brazzers mocked CNN for it, saying that airing such pornography would amount to the “least offensive” thing the network has done in the last year.
