Daniel, Ezekiel, Genesis come to mind first.

3 books I can read over and over.

Also the prophetic visions and re description of the wheel always fascinated me.

I remember since the age of 6, being fascinated with Revelations. I would read that book back to front every sunday in church. Almost every sunday. Some what weird when I look back. Too be so young and so entranced by such a grim book.

My favorite would be proverbs, if I had to choose.

Why? There are some pearls within regardless of if one believes it to be fiction or not, IMO.

I also enjoyed psalms, mainly for the poetic, melodic rhythm of the words.

Genesis. I reference it often when I engage with theists

From my position it's to argue against Creationism.

The Book of Revelation makes for great imagery as well. Often seen manifested in horror movies, which I love.

The Book of John.

We're get a great insight into the loving mind of Christ and the perspective of our saviour.

The book is a great counter to oppression and negativity. The book of John provides great insight into the heart of Christ and his purpose here on Earth as our savior.

The Book of The Cave of Treasures.

The Cave of Treasures, sometimes referred to simply as The Treasure, is a book of the New Testament apocrypha. more..

The Biblical apocrypha (from the Greek ἀπόκρυφος, apókruphos, meaning "hidden") denotes the collection of ancient books found, in some editions of the Bible, in a separate section between the Old and New Testaments[1] or as an appendix after the New Testament.

Genesis

Why: It is better to create then destroy.

The last page. Then it's finally over, so I can read some legitimate books like harry potter and the hobbit.

But honestly it would be dueteronomy. It's exposes the fallacies more than any other book and the brutality.

Hey digger,

Revelation all the way. Best part of a story is its conclusion.

Funny Padawan #2 chose the OT.

But then again Yeshi loved that stuff and 99% of its laws, referenced:
* Leviticus.
* Deuteronomy.
* Levites.
* Isaiah.
* Exodus.
* Leviticus.
* Numbers.
* Hosea.
* Micah.
* Genesis.
* Jeremiah.
* Psalm.
* Daniel.
* Zechariah.

Your a Yeshi fan no?

If Yeshi followed the OT then whats wrong with it? And its demonic laws?

I've always loved the book of James. Skeptic turned believer and (half) brother of Jesus. It's short and practical. He keeps it real. Reminds me to the find joy in my suffering.

Also, I often refer to James 4:8 (although this sentiment can be found in other places in the bible too):
Come near to God and he will come near to you.

Hi gnosisfaith, you back
Can't keep a good man down I guess

I like Habakkuk because it teaches that the religious are not as special as they think they are
That God doesn't respect a persons position, He respects their heart

Now go back to your Gnosticism forums and leave us in peace
You fundamentalists just can't change

The book of Ruth . Its a great story with lots of data . The kind of story that adds a twist to Gods plan where one can imagine His saying "now watch this " :>)
