The Defcon alert system, which is used by the US military to gauge the threat of nuclear war against the US based on world events, has just lowered the threat level to 5: The lowest level.

The level had been raised to level 3 in recent weeks due to tensions between the US and Russia reaching an all-time high, which was the highest level it had been at since 9/11.

Since the unexpected victory of Donald Trump in the Presidential Election, the threat of a nuclear war has reduced thanks to the positive relationship between Trump and Russian President, Vladimir Putin.

The Express reports: The Defcon Warning System, a private organization which monitors world events and estimates the nuclear threat against America, is now at Level 5 - its lowest possible state.

That is not even remotely reliable as a source. From their home page, huge disclaimer at the bottom:
