Having read the posting the following can be stated:

No the Democrats are not going extinct, nor are the Republicans. If they were, then the primary indicator would have been that the other 2 party candidates should have gotten a far larger amount of votes, than either of the 2 primary candidates did. And they did not, and it was theirs for the taking, but they started to late.

As far as A, who knows who leaked that information, though it had to be someone with that tape, and I seriously doubt it was a person who was in the actual main stream party, rather probably a person who was there or had a copy. And funny how it was the FBI director who violated the HATCH act and turned around 11 days before the election leaked an email and then later turned around and said it was nothing. That in itself is criminal.

Exhibit B: Who really knows, we are not doctors, we did not examine Clinton when she collapsed, it could really had been what was stated. A person that age getting sick, combined with a bit of heat stress will do a number on a person. One could easily had stated that Trumps sniffing was due to his use of some illegal narcotic, however without actual proof, it is only suspect and nothing that can be easily verified.

Exhibit C: So you are saying that someone who supports and commits hate crimes are not deplorable? Would you want to go back to the chaos of the 1960’s where people were getting killed for merely suggesting one or another group vote? Or how about public hangings or even Jim Crow laws, where groups were separated and in short people were not equal or treated equal in the country? Right now it is pretty evident that Trump has brought out the worst in people, that those who lost are protesting and rioting, but those who won, are equally bad, and are doing far worse as well, more and more signs of racism is rearing its ugly head, people threatened, church’s and homes vandalized. Fear is running rampant and this is becoming far worse than what people can imagine.

Exhibit D: I do not think it was casual hacker, no hacker is casual. Are we to not believe all of the intelligence groups out there, that they are going to violate the law and support one candidate, unlike the FBI which did violate the HATCH act?

Exhibit E: James Comey broke the law when he did that. The case was close, and then by him doing what he did, was a violation of the HATCH act. He was forbidden by law from doing such, and there needs to be an election. For if it can be proven that his actions swayed the public and he interfered in an election, he should be punished. This is why the military is forbidden to be involved in politics like that while in uniform, nor can other heads of federal offices.

Exhibit F: So using a person’s own words against them is attacking them? They were not making blanket statements, the man really did say the things that he put out. Don’t you think we should have been worried on some of his statements, that it should have been giving us pause to think, or even be afraid of some of the things being stated? The man espoused ideas that could be believed that he really wanted to use NAZI ideas in some of his policies. And his ties to Russia, how deep has never been explored or looked at in any depth.

Course the bright note right now, is that the Presidency is going to suffer a blow, kind of like when Nixon was in office, only sooner, due to it not being prepared for the position. Trump is finding out that just cause one is president, does not make him all powerful, rather it makes him pretty much in the national spotlight under a microscope. And the one thing that he had at one time is now gone for the next 4 years, and that is pretty much his privacy. He is currently having a hard time just getting the basics down, let alone the more detailed stuff. this does not bode well for the next 4 years.

And then there are all of the trials and legal troubles that the man is having to go through and can not merely sweep under the rug.

Your post saying life is good because you have a republican president-elect seems to be saying otherwise.

The question was, was life really good under republican presidents?

Both parties have led the US to where it is now so, I don't think the answer is yes, which makes me wonder what all the gloating is about.

Sometimes I wonder if people forget George W. Bush.

His child tax credits and stimulus packages did more for minorities than any president before him.

The Republican party has a president elect that is going to break every campaign promise with his cabinet choices. He was looking into security clearance for his children. He wants to give his son-in-law a cabinet position. Republicans barely supported him and you say the Democratic party is 'extincting itself'.

Lol. Good one.

Wants to give his son-in-law a cabinet position?

Damn good thing that you hate John F. Kennedy too.... who was his Attorney General?
His brother.
