It's probably because the people of Greece, like many people of so many other countries, are sick and tired of the wars and arms deals that the U.S. engages in daily, globally, and of course there's the greed thing for money/oil/gold/power etc.

I wouldn't doubt that...there's also probably some lingering resentment that Obama didn't bail them out when their economy tanked.

The protests are organised by Anarchists and the like against the representatives of imperialist powers.
Bill Clinton's visit was much the same.
