I still get tears in my eyes at the end of that movie.

I like 'A Christmas Carol' from 1938 with Reginald Owen and Gene Lockhart. Wikipedia Link

For fun, I watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation at least once.

This is the only version of " A Christmas Carol " that's worth watching.

Polar Express and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - forgot about them, thanks.

Also this.

It's not set at Christmas and it only really works with a British audience, but I like it.

Die hard pt.2 die harder is also a Christmas classic.
Home alone pt.1 & 2 my fiancee's favorites.
March of the wooden soldiers, now that's a classic.

My Christmas favorite is the Twilight Zone episode where Art Carney becomes Santa.
Gremlins, too.

My favorite Christmas movie is more of an anti-Christmas movie, the Finnish "Rare Exports." I just love both the original shorts (which I think can still be seen on EweToob) and the feature-length version. The unexpected hero of the movie is a teddy-bear toting little boy.

Scrooged for sure.

Bill Murray's take on a Christmas Carol is hilarious.

Buster Poindexter, Carol Kane, Bobcat Goldthwait, Karen Carpenter are all excellent in it.

" It's a toaster!"- whack!

Lols.

The one where they put those magical candy canes in the sleigh to get it to fly. What the hell was it called?

That and Nightmare Before Christmas.

Home Alone-A game changer for the Christmas-movie category: it has action, like a zip line to the neighbors' house

Nothing beats Macaulay Culkin going to the top of the World Trade Center in Home Alone 2, along with running into future prez Donald Trump inside the hotel he stays at. Another great Christmas movie.
