Ah. the free will question.

How foolish of me not to keep that front and center in my mind.

I don't believe in free will.

So I don't worry about not having it.

Now, there is "relative free will" or "apparent free will" and it is
indeed a fun thing to believe in. Without it, most humans try
to commit suicide.

So my bad.

The West is very big on souls and spirits and free will and all that
type stuff.

Other cultures don't care for any of that.

Even the famous physicist David Bohm if he were alive, would
probably have said, "Free will, or the perception of it at any
rate, would be an emergent process, quite ephemeral and
context/substrate dependent, not a real thing at all".

Or something like that.

Maybe I shouldn't even be having this discussion about the
Phenomenon. I don't want to harm anyone.

Hi, A thought came to me (still want to know where they come from) while reading that reply.

If we are living in some sort of 'created' reality could the phenomena be ''mining' our reality like folk do in this reality in our artificial digital world (web) for bitcoins?

Maybe for emotional energy which i have often wondered about and also helps explain why 'it' has changed its appearance over time and possibly assumes different forms to gather different emotional frequencies/waves, as usual I start to ramble and drift as different ideas 'come' to me.

I have pictured the various gods of this world as competing over our emotional outputs before and vying with each other for that power be that to survive or just playing some godsim game in their reality but this just brings up a whole new topic so i'll be off to think some more.

edit to add link - kev did you see the video in this thread re Plasma Space Experiment, Generates DNA Strand and more - www.abovetopsecret.com...

If you listen to Nick Bostrom and so many people these days,
it seems there is a fair statistical probability that we are in
a simulation.

If that is so, we are the Horror Channel at worst, or at least
some sort of entertainment.

I suppose you could let that "when we die our souls are sucked
into the false moon for processing then consumed" meme,
control your thinking, but I dislike that one and find no merit in it.

But lets say that we are NOT in a simulation.

But we are still in a Universe which appears to be some sort
of quantum computer, with some sort of holographic
engine.. I'm just talking physics here..

So that is not much different than us being in a simulation.

either we are in the original universe, which will eventually
evolve ancestor simulations..

or we are in an ancestor simulation.

I don't find dwelling on that very entertaining, so I plod along
like it's not true and have fun investigating the Phenomenon.

It's remotely possible, that despite the fact the entire Universe
seems prone to run simulations as part of it's essential functionality,
it's possible that is not true.

(our brains are highly complex simulators of the physical world..
ask anyone who has take a few science college courses..
and that's just the most basic level).

In which case, I don't have a clue about anything.. and we start
at zero.

Ya sure why not?

The very famous ignored photo?

You do know however, that if you had a photo signed by
Eisenhower, standing in Wright Patterson Air base,
shaking the hand of a grey alien, next to a crashed
saucer in the back of a large truck,

it would mean exactly zero, right?

Here ya go...

This is one of two purported ET alien 8"X10" photos that I mailed to J. Allen Hynek.

Location: Calvert Cliffs, Maryland - on the Western Shore of the Chesapeake Bay

Camera: Kodak Brownie Box Bullet camera - 127 film

Date: Summer of 1972

Purported ET alien is located in the lower right hand portion of the photo, that is sitting on a Miocene fossil boulder, behind a much larger Miocene fossil boulder at the waters edge.
Can you see his upside down U-shaped helmet, two large optical eye ports, a long vertical nose shape, with a 2" vertical breathing slit coming straight up from the bottom of his nose, a smile like a Zen Buddha that has just achieved satori, long three right hand fingers clutching the top of the Miocene fossil boulder, his left shoulder and his gray looking left leg and foot that is resting diagionally on the fossil rock boulder that he's sitting on.

Approx. size of ET alien: About 6 feet tall

Thoughts?

Why don't you e-mail my picture to Jacques Vallee --- see what he thinks about it --- and please tell me his response...

I'm certain that you've heard this word so many times, that
it makes you scream.

I'm truly sorry. But there is nothing else to say.

Pareidolia

I've seen better pictures of the virgin mary in my Maltomeal
than an alien in that picture.

I'm truly sorry.

May I add...their are numerous ET alien geoglyph carvings on the cliff face and dirt/stone megaliths as well. I'll be free to point them out to you and Jacques on a later date.

Cheers...

If you sat where the purported ET alien sat: Your face, head, left shoulder, left leg and foot, would have exposed to my camera angle, the same as the ET did.

I not here to brag about the historical implications of my photo...but I sincerely hope that you'll investigate the photo more, by magnifying it for a closer look, that is, if you haven't done so already.

But could you please e-mail my photo to Vallee, for the heck of it?

He should be interested...imho.

Thanks

Almost every human ever to live, has chased after something that has no reality
at all. We humans are story tellers. We get all caught up in our stories. We fight
and die for our stories.

We die without ever knowing what's true, in any sort of absolute sense.

There is no shame in you following your passion.

Everyone does it.

but you might be the only person in the entire world that sees an alien
in that picture.

It looks like the Ilkely Moor Alien Photo from 1987 in Yorkshire England.

The Ilkley Moor Alien 1987

Zoom in on the alleged alien

Ilkley Moor is a remote part of the County of Yorkshire in the UK with an eerie setting and mysterious ancient carved stones from our prehistory. People out walking will often spend hours where the only other creatures on the moors are the sheep (some alive, others in various stages of decomposition). The often foggy, misty conditions have led to legends of strange creatures, weird lights and a foreboding atmosphere. Especially in the cold, damp, dark mists of the English winter.

Don't know if you've ever been to Ilkley Moor Erno? But it is part of English folklore and the Yorkshire folks even have a song about it - "Ilkla Moor Baht At". Which warns the space alien to keep his helmet on in such a hostile environment.
Yet to someone from the other side of the Pennine mountain range like me I wonder if they actually speak English there. Lovely people though.

Strange how the first lad singing has the same name as a dead US President.

Kev - Do you think if you emailed these pics and videos to Jacques he would do a turn of Que Je T'aime (What's the time ET?) for us on karaoke in return?

People get obsessed with the idea that bits of processing beneath their conscious
level will bubble up in some neato way, then they can cling to it as "theirs"
as a result of "free will".

But something like 95% of all brain function is below the level of awareness
and never bubbles up at all. Are you then a prisoner of that 95% of your
own brain? What if you don't like "that silent person"?

Then add on the fact, that there is a TON of "external processing" in other people's
brain.. in external machines... media.. internet..

that wafts its way inside ones head via memes.. and reporgrams our unconscious
mind..

not to mention "the Phenomenon", if it even exists. But even if it didn't, a dying
star from across the far side of the Universe might strike you in the head (with gamma rays)
and make you crave pizza.. by a ridiculously long sequence of events.

You are right.. no free lunches.. everyone pays their bill.. with either cash or work.

BTW, you never mentioned your interactions with the "dog".

I didn't elaborate to much..www.abovetopsecret.com... bottom of the page.

I also had a a contact with an entity distinctly "dog" like, via the changa path. It may have been an actual dog/human exchange. idk...

ah thanks. You'd think with my name, that i had tried things against the T&C
to discuss, but I never have. So the dog fascinates me.. such a targeted thing
to see associated with that practice. I'm also extremely fascinated by
"Machine Elves", but I've never come across them.. only heard about the one
famous person reporting on them.

Really, I keep my life pretty boring.. oh sure, I had my psychonaut years..
but nothing beats contentment and that's what I have.

Oh sure, the pain of the world flows through me at all times.. but that pain
will always be there.. as this world will always be here... arising forever.. so
there's no use getting my nickers in a knot.

but easing suffering is truly a wonderful thing.. that is also true.

I was thinking along the same line to be honest, sort off. I would say that it is nothing but shading, but who knows ...

On the evil thing, even cute little animals can grow big to eat us. Still in denial on the chocolat ice cream.
