As I've said, he's draining the "swamp" so-to-speak, and apparently back filling it with "sewage".

Time will tell if his picks turn out to be swampy or not.

An organizational chart of Trump’s transition team shows it to be crawling with corporate lobbyists, representing such clients as Altria, Visa, Coca-Cola, General Electric, Verizon, HSBC, Pfizer, Dow Chemical, and Duke Energy. And K Street is positively salivating over all the new opportunities they’ll have to deliver goodies to their clients in the Trump era. Who could possibly have predicted such a thing?

The answer is, anyone who was paying attention. Look at the people Trump is considering for his Cabinet, and you won’t find any outside-the-box thinkers burning to work for the little guy. It’s a collection of Republican politicians and corporate plutocrats — not much different from who you’d find in any Republican administration.

A Wall Street billionaire claiming to be an "outsider"? I'm impressed he was able to sell that narrative to the masses. If his wealth isn't a lie, he's richer than a lot of the "establishment" politicians people hate.

You don't amass that much wealth and not be "establishment" or an "insider".

But, people are going to believe what they WANT to believe. They'll follow the propaganda train that confirms their biases and extends their hug boxes.

Well, no one, and I do man NO ONE, gets to Washington without being a Globalist or at least a good liar.

This is very true.

You have to at least play a little ball to be allowed into the game.

If he wants to put power back in the hands of the little guy and take it away from the 1% (which is something most of us can agree on), he could appoint Bernie Sanders to a position where he wouldn't have the power to pass the socialist policies that conservatives don't like, but could influence other things.

Heck, at this point, I'd be happy with anyone who isn't a member of the lunatic fringe or a known pimp for the 1%.

Honestly, it can't be done. It's one of those things that sounds great to say in a campaign but is impossible in practice. Lobbyists and top industry executives are the experts in their fields. Do we really want to appoint people to oversee those businesses who don't know anything about it? That's the only way to get an outsider.
