All you have to do to become a CEO is pay a few dollars to the state for a business license, start a company and voila...you can be a CEO too!

It's not quite that easy. First you have to read, study, and understand your state's version of the Model Business Corporations Act to draft acceptable Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws, comply with your state's Blue Sky laws and the federal Securities Act of 1933 and 1934 Exchange Act, giving particular attention to Rule 10b; understand the multi-thousand page IRC to make a successful S/C election and EID filing. Of course, you can always elect to find someone else intelligent enough to do all that for you.
