I don't understand the Democratic Party. Bernie signs were everywhere at one point.

Here in Michigan we had at least 7 Bernie signs up on my street, then the DNC in all its infinite wisdom decide to run a candidate that was under investigation.

Can all the people complaining about Trump winning actually grasp this concept?

Many times on ATS did I say I would vote for Bernie, and I believe in Michigan he would have won by a landslide. Most of the Democrat's I know in Michigan did not vote for Hillary Clinton, in fact, of the 7 signs that went up for Bernie on my street I spoke with 6 of them.

Here is what one person said: "I will not vote for that criminal, the Democratic party is a mess, so maybe this will send a wake-up call, in the future, to not run a candidate that we didn't want in the first place".

So in conclusion, the Democrats defeated themselves, because I really believe that if they ran Bernie, he would have had a very good chance of winning.

Well, the DNC and Clinton and the Media were all in cahoots to bury Bernie and prop up Trump. Boy, that sure did backfire on them! Everyone currently in the DNC needs to be fired for giving America Donald J. Trump.

I agree...Bernie had a chance....BUT...
Hillary and her corrupt DNC made sure he crashed and burned.

If Liberals REALLY want to blame someone for losing the election---Look no further than the rigged DNC and their absolutely despicable candidate, Hillary Clinton.

a debate between Bernie and Trump is actually one debate i really wanted to see. Not because i agree with Bernie but because i think this country needs a serious debate between Capitalism and Socialism. If anything just to get it all out of our systems so we can move forward lol

Had I of been allowed to vote in who becomes president of earth I would have voted Trump, HOWEVER!!!...

I concur had Bernie been allowed to run I would have expected him to win, the hatred for Clinton is very real and who knows how many people voted for Trump as a FU to her...

Oh well we will never know, at least I have 4 years of SJW break downs to watch, a MSM that is totally discredited, a political elite that is #ting themselves with what will be made public, Obama's legacy is ruined as the person that is coming in won against all odds with a big slogan of "let's make America great again", and it keeps the ball rolling after Brexit to help push even more countries to free themselves as is what I expect to happen in Europe over the coming few years...

Exciting times for sure

I totally agree-and am glad (as a Trump supporter) that the DNC (hilary) stabbed bernie and millions of his supporters in the back.

Bernie had the personality of somewhat off cottage cheese-but didn't have the decades of corruption and crime under his belt like the clintons. He couldn't have been defeated for being a criminal.Other than him being a communist-I can't say that I hate the guy.

I wasn't going to vote until I finally saw one too many liberal on ATS use the words "racist and bigot". It ticked me off enough to get a couple of my other friends that weren't going to vote either to go and vote for Trump.

There are so many things that killed a hilary presidency that we could go on and on.

But,in my case,Trump got 4 votes that he wouldn't have and he has the resident liberals on abovetopsecret.com to thank for it.

She can also thank her rapist husband-Bill Clinton for a multiple decade spanning dark shadow on their family/political aspirations.

IMO threads like this will, and should be extremely relevant to Democratic party, and the fact they disenfranchised an overwhelming majority of people.

So it left a choice between a bombastic douche-bag, 2 - 3rd party wack-jobs, and a career corrupt politician like Hillary and family.

Contrary to what many Republicans believe there are many Democrats who have moral fiber and pretty good critical thinking skills, so the choice was pretty simple.

If the Democratic party, or any other party wants successful elections results, then it appears the moral majority, in the USA has showed them what they do not want, in the future.

I have to agree with everything you posted except for this:

"Contrary to what many Republicans believe there are many Democrats who have moral fiber and pretty good critical thinking skills, so the choice was pretty simple"

If the left cared AT ALL about moral fiber-hilary would have been banished decades ago.

Yet,they were the best that the left could come up with.

Trying to run al sharpton in the next election will probably be their next example of "moral fiber".

I will post this a second time in as many days:

Donald Trump is probably the weakest candidate to ever run for the office of President of the United States.
Yet he beat a woman that was a former First Lady, a US Senator and a Secretary of State.
How did this happen?

Hillary Clinton was urged at the beginning not to run for President by her best friend and legal counsel, Cheryl Mills. Cheryl Mills thought that it was a mistake for her to run, due to the political baggage that she carried, chiefly the email issues.

But Hillary did run anyway and she had the DNC make certain that Bernie Sanders did not have a chance. She received answers to debates against Bernie Sanders from Donna Brazile. She cheated her way to the nomination against a rival that was polling much better than Trump was.

She ran against Trump, an absolutely horrible candidate.... and lost.

She failed a lot of people.

If you are angry that Trump did not lose to Hillary, maybe the place to have a demonstration is at the headquarters of the Democratic Party. They are the ones that allowed an extremely flawed candidate to railroad herself into the nomination.

Take back control of your party. Take control away from the people that allowed this to happen.

Yup the DNC loss is 100% on them.

Don’t know why they are rioting and protesting!

THEY caused THIER loss.

They were so fixated on pushing in a unelectable Clinton they destroyed any chance they had.

Anyone that supported Hilalry in the primarys....... Trump is now on YOU

Thanks for that reply.

Many ATS members that know me and chat with me via PM, know that I was considering a 3rd party vote, but after careful consideration with what the Democratic party had left me with, but since I'm more of a Constitutionalist than a Democrat, or Republican I voted Trump.

Nice Job! DNC you sure did a wonderful job of pissing off many of your followers by not running Bernie. Maybe next time you'll actually listen, and this BS won't happen again.

I wonder what would happen if Bernie Sanders came out and made a statement on how it wasn't Donald Trump who stole the election? He has nothing to lose, he's not going to run again.

It is hard to say who I would have voted for as a UK national. If I was American I would be a totally different person, I know for a fact I would own guns, be concerned about health care and student loans and constant war etc. I think if Bernie had got the nomination it would probably have been him, but I was happy that anyone but the Clintons got in. I would never as a woman vote for a woman nominee just because she is female.

I like the fact Trump wants to bring back jobs but not sure in this Globalist world he is going to be able to make USA great again, the fact is even if he brings back plants unions will probably make them move back to Mexico anyway.

I'm a fan of unions especially in this downward wage spiral we are in, but they sometimes shoot themselves in the foot, maybe Universal Basic Income will need serious consideration in the future. Trumps policies I have read so far seem to be bad for the environment.

I cannot stand Hillary and Bill and hope they go to prison but that is wishful thinking.

If Bernie had been chosen, he would have won.

I have maintained from the very beginning that Presidencies are won because people vote FOR a candidate, not because they are voting AGAINST a candidate. I know this cuts against the popular wisdom here, but nothing will convince me otherwise.

Millennials did not come out to vote. Blacks did not come to vote. Ergo HRC lost.
