Wow!

Not sure if this is true but if so, Kurt was prescient in addition to being musically talented. It's popping up all over the internet.

FWIW - I miss Kurt. And I think Courtney should have been strung by her toes for her role in this. But that aside, see below:

Gen X. That would be us. We're the ones no one ever talks about and Trump calls us the forgotten men and women.

I'm going to say this is a big fat hoax.

That sounds like the exact opposite of what he would say.

You along with millennials, we've made alot of noise for anti establishment.

Anyone can say many are messed up snowflakes and I will be the first to say you're right. But some of us were raised with access to all information at our fingertips and aren't afraid to question our ideology.

Cmon ATS. A simple google search "Cobain Trump hoax" is all you have to do. Your looking like my older relatives who share anything on Facebook. It's a hoax. Anyone who's a fan of Nirvana should have known to question this.

Hate to rain on the parade but this is false, as is usually the case when it comes to memes, quotes, the internet, and most definitely the Trump crowd.

Smells Like Mean Spirit

ORIGIN:On 30 July 2016, the pro-Donald Trump Facebook page "Trump Train" posted an image of the late Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain overlaid with a message ostensibly uttered by him in 1993 endorsing Donald Trump for president:

The "Trump Train" Facebook page didn't provide any information about where Cobain allegedly made this prediction (e.g., in an interview, as part of a television appearance, during a concert) and noted only that it he supposedly uttered it sometime in 1993. We found no record of the Nirvana singer's saying anything like the statement attributed to him by that page in 1993 (or any other year).

This quote appears to have originated with the "Trump Train" Facebook post of 30 July 2016, made long after Cobain's 1994 death by suicide. (In addition to the dubious citation, the image also incorrectly spells Cobain's given name as 'Curt' rather than 'Kurt.')

The "Trump Train" Facebook page frequently publishes debunked conspiracy theories and clickbait articles. While this does not specifically speak to the Kurt Cobain quote, it does hint at the credibility of the images posted by that page:

How dare they sour the good name of Kurt Cobain!!!!! You bastards!!!

I have absolutely NO doubt that that harpy had him killed.

Saw a terrific documentary on Netflix called (I think "Soaked in Bleach").

I have ZERO doubt.

Not good enough. They suck too.

If it's shown to be a hoax, I will be the first to pull it. But Snopes?
