Looks like Trump is going to make Steve Bannon his Chief of Staff.

Looks like he is going to drain the swamp AND stamp on progressivism.

You mean by instituting maternity leave, raising tarrifs on imports, single payer option, raising min wage, exc...

Hell except for the wall/immigration is there any policy trump has mentioned that is not as left wing as any thing Bernie mentioned??

Cutting taxes?
Changes to abortion law?
Growing the military?
Recommending strict constitutionalists to the Supreme Court?
Removing regulation?
Ending support for climate change programs in favour of clean water and air programs?
Divesting power back to the states for education?
Investing in the energy sector?

...is your question like one of those Monty Python sketches, "what have the Romans ever done for us?"

He won't touch abortion..maybe a conservative Supreme Court could but the dems can still phillibuster the nominee, so that means it's not a blank check.

He has been a life long moderate(to be fair) democrat he will use the philibuster as an excuse to put a moderate in place of Scalia.

A normal president would have to worry about a party revolt. Trump does not.

Conservatism just died. Which I think is a good thing.

Now we will have big government republicans who want history to remember their big inferstructure and social projects.

Never forget the pendulum of politics. Big sweeping changes motivates people to action.

Ban abortion, take a couple million people's insurance subsidies and cut their social security checks and see how the GOP does in the midterms and next election. They are losing the numbers game people are just too lazy to vote....but if you take stuff away and give them an immediate reason to....

Looks more like he's going to stamp on anything that even remotely resembles the truth.

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, but Bannon isn't a good move.
edit on 12-11-2016 by Greggers because: (no reason given)

It's Bannon or Priebus (apparently).
Progressivism doesn't even remotely resemble the truth so we're in disagreement about what he will stamp out.

Members of any and all political ideologies are capable of both truth and lies.

Bannon, on the other hand, has built a media franchise that revolves around selling lies to a gullible public.
