Talk about after shocks !!

Looks like college students are so broke up about the Trump landslide they can't seem to focus on their studies.

The future of the country is in their hands !!

Canceled classes, a cry-in and more: College campuses reel from Trump win

The aftermath of Donald Trump’s election has been tough on our nation’s college campus special snowflakes. Forced to endure school the day after such a decisive Clinton defeat, they were quick to ask for a number of concessions from their professors and administrations.

Yale students were so distraught they asked their professor to cancel midterm exams (at least one professor happily made his exam optional).

And these are going to be our co-workers/ peers in a few short years. Oh joy

Well, hopefully a trump presidency can strengthen up all the weak snowflakes. It's crazy to me how people get so upset over everything these days.

Our nation has sunk pretty low that we have a bunch of cry babies running around. What happened to real role models in society? Where are all the true men? and true women? Not this sad shells of existence.

I hope there never is a real problem these strong and proud college students have to face, like a flat tire.

so, college students, stressed out about midterm exams, were looking for a reason not to go to classes and put off those stressful midterms a few more days?

Color me shocked

My read as well.

But, I'd add that I do believe the faculty was too butt-hurt to put out and needed to take a moment.

Hopefully, they'll reflect on their nasty little role ... but they probably won't.

I Predict in 4 Years from now , these Young People will look back to Nov. 2016 as a Time of their Economic , Intellectual , and Spiritual Emancipation from the Control their Minds have been Subjected to by the Present State of Higher Learning comprised of those who Never Really Intended them to Develop into Free Thinkers , but become Nothing More than Subservient Lemmings Herded off the Cliff of their Radical Socialist Beliefs which would Never Offer them Anything but Lies .

I'm reminded of what my grandparents were doing at 18, overseas, marine corp, Africa, Europe and Asia, putting their lives on the line far from home, seeing their friends killed right beside them, then I consider 2016 where kids the same age are so emotionally shaken by a President who want to protect our borders and confront radical Islam that they can't attend class or take an exam, that I feel like I'm in some cartoon.

This is a major reason Trump getting elected is so important. We need to restore some f***ing backbone and common sense to the younger generations.

My Grandfather was one of the smartest men I've ever known. The man did'nt even finish eighth grade because he had to start working that young to support his mother and sisters. He always told me not to let going to school get in the way of me getting an education.

Looking at these pictures is the first time I am glad I did'nt go to college.

I have a very brief message for them:

Grow the flock up!

Get used to it.

And you disgust me, just a little bit.

I'm glad I raised my children differently.

Gah you guys cry about being called bigots, racists and what not, but you are more then happy to label others. I think maybe you folks need to step back and get some introspection done.

I wish I could tell my job or my school that I'm too hurt by an election that I just can't focus so I can't function. Oh woe is me. My choice couldn't even win by cheating. Waaaaaa.

They would laugh at me.

Tsk tsk...

How long will these after shocks go on? I suppose we should let the defeated cool off a bit before things get rolling again.

Well said and well put. I've been having this sickly feeling of weakness perpetrating throughout the US and instigated on social media platforms.
We need to get that back bone and tough skin again.
