The pollsters NEVER have gotten something as wrong as this.

Bottom line…something stinks.

He was 1 or 2 percent behind in the polls, well within the margin of error. You also have to take into account the fact plenty of people who voted Trump will not want to have broadcast it either.
Very similar to Brexit here in the UK, polls had remain winning by 2 or 3 percent before and a couple of percent on the exit polls. again plenty of Brexit voters wanted to remain anonymous.
