I imagine that a certain amount of contact with foreign leaders is actually routine. Just like when Trump met with the President of Mexico.

This sounds far more like back channel — clandestine in fact — communications between Russian representatives and "a whole array of" of campaign staffers.

If it was perfectly aboveboard, why lie?

the same progressives who identify often with socialism and even on the extreme communism now criticize the right for trying to be allies with Russia, very strange times we are in

If Hillary did similar certain people would be yelling like hyenas “Hillary is a criminal” “Hillary is a traitor”

Hillary did do similar. Or more correct, worse. And we did call her a criminal.

She accepted donations from nation states that funded terrorism. And then she approved arms deals in those terror sponsoring nations.

And we did say she was a traitor.

Thank goodness and democracy that Donald Trump will use these "Russian" contacts for peace and prosperity to see the f`'ing light of day, rather than see Hillary Clinton with her finger on the nuclear launch button!

And that is all it ever was, not some Russian plot to interfere with our elections.
Try to understand the truth isn't what you want it to be.

In September, Trump was interviewed by host Larry King for a segment broadcast on RT America, part of a state-owned Russian media network. In the interview, Trump criticized the U.S. news media, calling it “unbelievably dishonest.” A Trump spokesman said the interview had been a “favor” to King, a former CNN host and a friend of Trump’s, and that the campaign did not know the interview would appear on RT America.

Larry King is a Russian Agent? They must have struck a deal where they gave that man the elixir of life in order to work on RT.

Russia was likely getting a feel for how Trump wants to approach syria.

Meanwhile Saudi fundamentalist and the devil himself George Soros are Okie Doke.
Ante you been protesting yet today at those soros organized events?

This is because they don't get to do it with the rest of us set apart from them, so they look like the heroes, when in truth everyone should be together.

The "Stronger together" slogan has been totally lost on them.

You cherry picked one paragraph about the Larry King interview and tried to pass it off as what Ryabkov was talking about Larry King? Really?

Next time try to be a little more disingenuous if you could.

You forgot part of the statement:

Ryabkov also told Bloomberg that there was “sporadic” contact with the Clinton team, although those conversations were “not always productive.”

And a whole truckload of corrupt middle-eastern consortiums had contact with Hillary clintons campaign team.....along with the financial backing provided by said consortiums..

your point?

Hillary is a bad news.....Trump may actually have a chance to enable change and effect on US Foreign Policy and remove the stranglehold the Rich Oil Theocracies have over the US.

Why does it matter? The Russian citizens did not come here and vote, US citizens did and that is what won the election.
I do not think it matters or impacted the outcome. The US people have spoken. I did not vote for Trump but I put enough faith in the system to believe that this was actually a fair election process this time.

I accepted the results of the election and that Donald Trump will be our President.

What does that have to do with anything? Did I somehow forfeit the right to criticize the President-elect who will in a very short time be my President too?

Is this what we can look forward to going forward? People who voted for Trump not even willing to consider any new information about Trump that they don't care to be exposed to? A bully squad of posters who voted for Trump rushing into silence any dissenters?

I wasn't looking for something to talk about. This is breaking today and it is more than worthy of consideration and discussion.

Be careful. Trump may steal a page from Putin's handbook, and you may be shot for saying something against him. (and I'm only half kidding!)

What is the problem here?

Well most Hillary supporters are really scrapping the barrel now. Even the fact that her campaign was deliberately creating a "boogeyman" to distract from all the slime that follows her and is still ungoing.

The disconnect is real.

Right On! So I guess these idiots wanted her to be elected so she could start WWIII? Leave the Russians alone. I don't care if they invade the Islamic Republic of France! Mind you own goddamn business!!
