The Forgotten Man - Jon Mcnaughton

We can't make the mistake of being forgotten again, nor can we make the mistake of forgetting others.

Let's move the hell on...

Obama roasts Trump.
So what is next? Roswell?

I don't think Obama is that bad, and many people would agree with me. Sure, his domestic policies could have been a bit better, but it is unfair to lay the blame solely on him. More things could have been done, and perhaps more effectively too, if the Republicans had given him a chance and coordinated with him. His foreign policy was a hit and miss, but i will say that after he kicked Hillary to the curb after his first term, things got much better. We saw flippant and terrible decisions while Hillary was Secretary of State, but Obama's administration ended up engaging more with isolated countries and making attempts to negotiate on serious situations like Syria when she was replaced by John Kerry.

He's not perfect, but a lot of Americans, and a lot of the world, are sad that he will be leaving office come January.

hit and miss?

pulling the troops out and creating isis, not enforcing immigration laws and resetting race relations back to 60's, all the while villainizing the man in that painting.

Obama's focus was globally delusional and the country nearly fell apart.

Idk. He did sign the NDAA at midnight on New Year's Eve. He most certainly aided in OBAMA CARE. Making sure that I as well as lots of others can no longer afford health insurance.

Lemme think.... He also lied about drones. He has expanded war.

Yeah. He's not that great.

He had to pull the troops out. Iraq refused to extend the presence of US forces.

Additionally the US made great efforts to eradicate ISIS (then AQI/ISI) before leaving Iraq, and they effectively did. They killed and captured most of its leadership.

not enforcing immigration laws

Obama had deported 2 million illegal immigrants as of early 2014. Nine times the rate 20 years prior.

and resetting race relations back to 60's, all the while villainizing the man in that painting.

To blame these things solely on Obama is simple and misleading.

Yes, i said he wasn't perfect.

The NDAA was terrible.

Obamacare is okay, and certainly not as bad as many make it out to be. Like everything, it can certainly be improved.

He uses drones and proxy wars to avoid having to send US soldiers in to do all the work. Sure, there are SOF in these countries doing their job, but Obama isn't wasting billions a year directly fighting a conflict which is unwinnable. He is doing it more strategically. Though his foreign policy regarding the Middle East has been pretty terrible, it has arguably improved in his second term, after he got rid of Clinton. Libya was her jewel, after all, and she was known to go behind the back of Obama and the Pentagon with it. Since then, Obama has been more open to negotiating with opponents in the Middle East, and certainly has not wasted time on ISIS.

It's nice that Obama care isn't that bad for you. It's terrible for me. Maybe if we had a real marketplace with real competition. As it stands I am exempt from it because I can't afford it. That simply means that I no longer have any health insurance.

I am sorry you are without healthcare.

I quite liked the idea Bernie had about healthcare, even if it gets a bad rap for being 'socialist'.

I'm actually Australian, and the healthcare here is great. We have private and public services. Those who can't afford it still get it through the public system, but those can afford private can go that way if they want options and other fancy stuff.

Truly, a picture is worth a thousand words. That says it all. The only other thing that might add a bit more accuracy is if Obama while standing on the Constitution crumpled up on the ground has his nose in the air.

You left out this nifty tidbit:
It took this country around 240 years (it's entire existence) to accrue 10 trillion dollars of debt.
Obama managed to double it to 20 trillion in the last 8.

Staggering isn't it?
