...a new way to exploit the poor?

[stolen from aol for ats users

PORTLAND, Ore. (June 17) - Instead of going Dumpster-diving for maybe a half-eaten sandwich and some cold fries, Peter Schoeff, a 20-year-old homeless man, was served a slice of hot pizza dripping with cheese.

All he had to do was hold a sign for about 40 minutes that read: ``Pizza Schmizza paid me to hold this sign instead of asking for money.''

LOL!

Are you trying to take away the only thing ech and pizza have in common? Don't ruin the romance, they were just warming up to each other.

In answer to Echelons question, doesnt this at least make the poor homeless guy a useful part of society, and help increase his self esteem. Hell, at least hes not hungry for the day!

1. Cheap advertising (a pizza slice for 40 minutes...)
2. Good PR (Feeding the poor)
3. Good for Homeless people (seriously, for a couple hours of doing almost nothing..., one gets food for the day...not a bad deal)

well provided the fact that 45 minutes at *my* job would not pay for a slice of pizza, I say its a fair deal, and easy too!
