I did actually think that being under the influence was the reason but in the end it was actually a parasite, that gave me both anxiety and aggression
in equal doses.
I don't think we were so neurotic 20 years ago never mind 100 years ago, I think Atheism and the focus on self is the driving force, people were a lot
more spiritual and cared for others in days gone by. Now it's all service to self and not to others.
I know I keep mentioning balance but I'm a computer engineer been working on computers since I was a kid in the 80's, I am surrounded by technology, I
have a gaming pc, a mediacenter pc, a laptop, mobile phone etc.. My whole life is technology, outside of work I'm working on projects for friends
businesses, friends of friends that need a fire stick running kodi. I work on my own projects, I am constantly busy working on technology related
things but I balance my life.
My pal comes round every 2nd monday and we sit and watch a couple of episodes of shows and have a few games of Fifa.
Every Tuesday I meet my friend for dinner and then we go and watch a movie at home.
Wenesdays & Thursdays I might have my friend come to me or me to him for the mid week football.
Fridays my friend comes round for a catchup of our DC related tv shows.
Saturday I meet family for lunch either at my place or at my sisters.
Sunday I like to go for a drive and then maybe catchup on any work I need to do for friends etc..
All the times I'm socialising, we are not on our phones, we are talking, having fun and enjoying each others company.
We may show each other things on our phones but that's about it, we still socialise.
BTW my mum at 75 uses facebook and the like more than I do, so it's not a generational thing.
