Another article.

Article

Neither one will do anything that doesn't increase the debt. One is just going to do it a bit slower than the other. Neither one knows how to manage the countries funds in such a way that will reduce debt.

Three successes for every one bankruptcy. Any of us could live handsomely with that success-to-failure ratio in our business ventures. Bankruptcy also carries significant tax benefits, that can be used to make the successful businesses even more profitable.

The tower has been controversial since its opening because of lower than expected occupancy rates in the "hotel-condo" portion of the building

You do understand the significance of that statement , correct ? Or did you just read the headlines ? I think the latter. That glorified headline. The way that folks get suckered in and wind up with much egg on their face.

Trump did license his name and his brand to Talon. This isn’t his main concern this week, but he can’t deny all responsibility for the failure of a Trump project, especially when the Trump Organization is running the Trump hotel. The project's partners, investors, and lenders all got a Trump Experience, one that isn't available from the concierge.

Trump first got involved in the project 15 years ago, when he held a press conference with Toronto’s mayor to announce his plan to build a new Ritz Carlton downtown. That plan fell apart when it came out that his development partner was a fugitive who had been convicted of bankruptcy fraud and embezzlement in the U.S. Trump then forged a licensing and management deal with Shnaider and another Russian-Canadian named Val Levitan

But Trump’s campaign, with its hostility towards foreigners, progressives, and others, has not played well in Toronto. A city councilor has called for the property to change its name. Hollywood types reportedly blackballed the hotel—along with its 31st-floor restaurant, which is actually called America—during this summer’s Toronto Film Festival. There have been protests outside the building by union workers, women’s groups, and Muslim groups. The Trump brand is under siege, which has delayed the opening of a similar Trump-licensed hotel and condo project in Vancouver until after the election.

Trump licensed his name for the project to Talon International, owned by a Russian-born oligarch, Alexander Shnaider. “The whole business model has been overpromise and underdeliver, and it’s Trump’s name on the thing”

His company, Trump Toronto Hotel Management, takes care of the property's reservations, marketing, and housekeeping, and has been accused by Talon of subpar management. In May, Talon's lawyer told VICE News that a deal for the building's sale was in the works.

But according to Thursday's ruling, the claimants can sue Trump, company chair Alex Schnaider, and former Talon president Val Levitan based on claims of oppression, collusion, and breach of fiduciary duties.

Negative.

Surely you took the time to read the article, right?

But this is Talon’s bankruptcy, not his. The project was built with other people's money; he just got paid for the use of his name and his hotel management team.

Are you deflecting to lawsuits? Your statement that "trump has 1 more bankrupcies to add to his list." is not factual.

Trump has NEVER declared bankruptcy personally. A few of his companies has. Four out of at least a few thousand companies (business ventures) going sour is a pretty good ratio by any world class billionaire standard ..

Now if you could link a billionaire with less bankruptcies ...actually if you can show that Trump's fail to win ratio is higher than other billionaires....I'm waiting.

Even if he is last in line....he will still be a billionaire ..well above millionaire status. Kinda like a pro football player vs a collage player.

So it's not actually about Trump being a bad businessman, it's more about economic warfare committed by the left.

Oppose the queen and pay the price type of deal.

America is in for one hell of a ride.

Trump doesn't own it never invested in it, They paid Trump to use his name. This works with hotel chains I can own a building and call it a Hyatt or four seasons as long as I pay them to use the name. Or to put it simply your article is crap and Trump has nothing to do with the property other than them paying him to join his hotel chain. Be interested to Know They only Got the name on one side of the building and eben than only said trum seeing as the P was never placed. But on the plus side shows how smart Trump is he was paid for using his hotel name on a building that never got completed.
