People with College Degrees should appreciate how Donald Trump will vastly improve the U.S. economy, thereby creating lucrative opportunities for professionals seeking to move up the ladder in the business world, or as entrepreneurs. Hillary Clinton has no experience with improving anybody's economy, except her own, via the Clinton Foundation.

My common sense is "short-circuiting" with trying to understand why College Educated voters prefer Hillary Clinton, while those with only High School Education prefer Donald Trump. Any CONSTRUCTIVE thoughts/theories are appreciated!

Do you have a college degree?

hmm i received my two degrees at two different colleges, one west coast the other east coast. neither college did anything to indoctrinate me into conservative/liberal ideologies.

they taught me critical thinking skills and how to research claims.

primarily the reason i voted for neither red or blue...since neither represents the american people.

I work in electronic publishing. Of the four of us in our little area, we're about 50/50. Two who are four, not because we like Trump but because we know who and what Hillary is what her policies will mean, and the other two are pro-Hillary because "first women president, rah, rah! Trump's a pig!"

Husband is the STEM guy and there are decent number of Trumpers there where he works.

We have a few women voters who are voting for her because she's a woman.

I could care less about her lady parts. I want the platform, not the Personage.

I supported Sanders in the Primaries. He worked very hard to ensure that he pulled the DNC to the left on healthcare and education, etc. Now we have to elect Hillary and hold her feet to the fire while partisan Obstructionism attempts to block every move in as spiteful a manner as possible. It sucks but it is all we have.

It is about long-term strategy, and not immediate emotional catharsis. If you think the Left has simply given up with Sanders out of the picture, I assure you it hasn't. Hillary will get pummeled from all sides. The thing is, she's tough enough to take it and balance it out and make deals. She will make mistakes, as she is human and obviously not psychic.

I still think if the RNC had been hacked like the DNC and Trump's campaign managers/ key staff had all their emails revealed, you would be crapping your pants over that side of the isle Big League. They have fooled all of you with an unbalanced narrative.

i think that if the RNC had been hacked too, the american people would abandon the reds and blues for third parties. like they should have been doing in the first place

Right? That anyone thinks this is somehow exclusive to democrats is beyond me.

It is very simple.

Your "common sense" is not an indicator of reality. In other words, your "common sense" isn't worth much.

More democrats have higher degrees of learning and it has been that way for a very long time. This election hasn't changed that fact.

His IQ is in the low 120s which isn't bad but it's not 156 not by a very very long shot.
God you can tell he's not that smart from his asinine actions over this whole election.
If that was really his IQ he would have figured out how to act.

He's seriously flawed. Totally unfit.

Judging by his repeated use of words like "bigly," his inability to hold a thought for more than 10 seconds, or construct a proper sentence, I'd just bet his actual IQ is probably well below 56.

So?

I care about the platform on the other side.

The idea that the government should run important parts of my life is anathema to me. The idea that government anything is benevolent, especially when it is required that I take part in it, is hare-brained. We see how benevolent government run education tends to be in the larger cities.

Look -- here's the thing -- very smart people exist on both sides of this divide. Reasonable people can and do reach conclusions about what they think will and won't work. So really, people need to stop this ego stroking about how this or that side is somehow all composed of idiots and morons and unedumakated fools and dupes.

It's just a lie you are telling yourself to make you feel better and superior like you used to do in grade school when you told yourself that the kid of the opposite gender had "cooties."

It makes a lot more sense than you think.

Trump has branded himself the "Blue Collar Billionaire". So people that work blue collar jobs believe he will be best for the job. A lot of folks that work blue collar jobs only have high school diplomas.

Most younger people who have college degrees tend to vote Democrat and believe everything they read at face value. Schools and our government have been appealing to the lowest common denominator for decades in the thought that it would help people out of poverty and get better jobs. When in reality all it has done is make people less educated.

College educated people becoming more socialist isn't a fluke, it's by design.

Mine is 151, but my source is just an official IQ test administered by a school.

Anyway the point is most people here think I'm half-idiot so;

Fun fact, a PERFECT SAT score is equivalent to 156, something neither Bill or Trump would ever have.

Edit: I scored a 32 on my ACT, and that's kind of bad, but what's interesting is I had nearly 100% accuracy of answered questions and clearly run out of time at the end of the sections. They return the answer sheet, I always liked that about the ACT, other than the fact the timer is rigged.
