Anyway, i would recommend

Area 51
The Dreamland Chronicles

By David Darlington

The Spear of Destiny (Trevor Ravenscroft)
Fingerprints of the Gods (Graham Hancock)
Return to Soddom and Gomorrah (Charles Pellegrino)
Holy Blood, Holy Grail (Baigent and Leigh)
The Mothman Prophecies (John Keel)

and though I haven't read it, nor will I ever, I guess one the latest fiction books would be Hillary Clinton's "Living History".

Dude, where are you going to? On foot to the north pole??

Just go to amazon.com and search for the topics you are interested in.

If you want more info on survival skils you should try the SAS handbook.

i would like to ask you what kind of book that you like?
i think book isn,t good enuff the best way of the real life book says like the ATS member is the miracle book.
so when ever you go abroad just connect the laptop with solar power enegy, and charge with the handphone
even if you in northpole or in southpole of course we are here to be or not to be with you

we are but a real miracle book that no money can buy.

Anything by clancy is very good, my personal favourites are...

Red Storm Rising
Executive Orders

Then of course you have the conspiranoia classic - 1984
Body Of Secrets (James Bamford) is a good factual account of the NSA's history however its not very exciting.
Total War 2006 (Simon Pearson)
SAS Survival manual too

Read Musashi, A very good book about a ronin. Also Pick up anythin by Andy Mcnab, I believe the first one in the series is Remote Control...Be warned, If you read Andy Mcnab's stuff, you will get hooked. Chance are you might lose "some" sleep.
