It appears that way.

And I didn't know that either...

I would imagine the AP has been doing it for decades.

Is it possible they are early voting numbers?

Not likely. Connecticut has no early voting, yet both the Fox 4 and WMCTV websites are saying that CT
has 100% of precincts reporting. Oddly, the 2 websites give slightly different numbers regarding who voted for whom.
I'm hoping that the the e-amil sent to Riffrafter From WMCTV's news director was on the up and up with respect to testing the computers. We'll see. Feeling very cynical about it all right about now.

Get in line...lol.

On an unrelated note for all the US based folks and baseball fans worldwide - there is a great game on right now. Game 7 - Chicago Cubs vs. Cleveland Indians. Cubs haven't won a World series in over 100 years.

Score tied 1-1 top of the 4th inning...

Thanks for the info.

Whenever I see a story like this it often makes me wonder if the reporting is a result of a parallel discovery/investigation or if these "news" organizations are monitoring ATS as a starting source for their stuff.

Food for thought...

This the same feed that reported Hillary Clinton's death in mid-September?

I say they often go to Alex Jones and ATS. Then decide if reporting it will get their careers destroyed or not. Will they politically survive reporting it. If it's safe they report it unless they are involved of course.

Thanks for the info rift. I'm a little surprised that they still use FTP for sending these metrics out.

Me too....but there are so many stations across the country and some of them are pretty small with low budgets so I assume the Associated Press (AP) uses what they feel will reliably work for the largest amount of stations in the country.

I was impressed with the speed and detail of the News Director's reply to me.

I learned a while ago, if you write/email/contact the person in charge you will always get a response. So rather than guess and flail around I figured I'd go directly to the source.
