Was Putin's Puppet receiving his marching orders from the puppetmaster? Updates on the email hacks and Wikileaks? Or is the oblivious orange parrot as unaware of this possible backchannel communication as he seems to be about everything else in his Russian-operative-lousy campaign and his "tremendous company?"

We already know a former advisor — a foreign policy advisor specializing in Russia, Carter Page — is under investigation for meeting with sanctioned Russian officials while in Moscow talking smack on the USA in speeches. Then of course there's Manafort who left the campaign when his decade long stint as a Putin lapdog's lapdog became a talking point. Then there's another advisor brought on by Manafort, Richard Burt, who as it happens, sits on a senior advisory board for none other than Alfa Bank — AND wrote major portions of Trump's foreign policy speech.

Maybe this feckless idiot is just so unaware that he doesn't know what's going on around him. He seems to change his tune with each new handler. Now that he's got Bannon running him and Bossie running everything else and his decades long bestie/toadie Roger Stone is paling around with Alex Jones (and paying agitators to infilitrate rallies), he might as well just read Alex Jones transcripts from his teleprompters.

Of course the one thing that really hasn't changed is his adoration of Vladimir Putin. So... let's move on to the secret server:

Was a Trump Server Communicating With Russia?

In late July, one of these scientists—who asked to be referred to as Tea Leaves, a pseudonym that would protect his relationship with the networks and banks that employ him to sift their data—found what looked like malware emanating from Russia. The destination domain had Trump in its name, which of course attracted Tea Leaves’ attention. But his discovery of the data was pure happenstance—a surprising needle in a large haystack of DNS lookups on his screen. “I have an outlier here that connects to Russia in a strange way,” he wrote in his notes. He couldn’t quite figure it out at first. But what he saw was a bank in Moscow that kept irregularly pinging a server registered to the Trump Organization on Fifth Avenue.

More data was needed, so he began carefully keeping logs of the Trump server’s DNS activity. As he collected the logs, he would circulate them in periodic batches to colleagues in the cybersecurity world. Six of them began scrutinizing them for clues.

Earlier this month, the group of computer scientists passed the logs to Paul Vixie. In the world of DNS experts, there’s no higher authority. Vixie wrote central strands of the DNS code that makes the internet work. After studying the logs, he concluded, “The parties were communicating in a secretive fashion. The operative word is secretive. This is more akin to what criminal syndicates do if they are putting together a project.” Put differently, the logs suggested that Trump and Alfa had configured something like a digital hotline connecting the two entities, shutting out the rest of the world, and designed to obscure its own existence. Over the summer, the scientists observed the communications trail from a distance.

From the article, it sounds like it might be a clandestine mail server. What's more, the server was shutdown after the a reporter from the NYT approached Alfa Bank representatives in D.C. :

Lichtblau met with a Washington representative of Alfa Bank on Sept. 21, and the bank denied having any connection to Trump. (Lichtblau told me that Times policy prevents him from commenting on his reporting.) The Times hadn’t yet been in touch with the Trump campaign—Lichtblau spoke with the campaign a week later—but shortly after it reached out to Alfa, the Trump domain name in question seemed to suddenly stop working.

Let that sink in. After months of the server being observed, a reporter asks Alfa Bank about this TRUMP ORG SERVER and then it gets shut down?

Here's the kicker:

Four days later, on Sept. 27, the Trump Organization created a new host name, trump1.contact-client.com, which enabled communication to the very same server via a different route. When a new host name is created, the first communication with it is never random. To reach the server after the resetting of the host name, the sender of the first inbound mail has to first learn of the name somehow. It’s simply impossible to randomly reach a renamed server. “That party had to have some kind of outbound message through SMS, phone, or some noninternet channel they used to communicate [the new configuration],” Paul Vixie told me. The first attempt to look up the revised host name came from Alfa Bank. “If this was a public server, we would have seen other traces,” Vixie says. “The only look-ups came from this particular source.”

Today's key word '' deflect ''
Use it in a sentence.

'' Dear god, we need to do everything we can to deflect from the truth.''

an extract from your article:

a small, tightly knit community of computer scientists who pursue such work—some at cybersecurity firms, some in academia, some with close ties to three-letter federal agencies

Judging from the plethora of lies, half truths, false accusations and complete garbage spewed by 3 letter agencies and the DNC... I think your accusation that Trump and Russia have a secret communications network that was suddenly turned off when a ''anonymous'' 3 letter agency saw it - is the last ditch effort of a desperate few.

This was a chess game.. Clinton sacrificed her queen and with the ''grab them by the p***y'' audio tape. That was her big move... then came the dozen or so false allegations of sexual assault... boy, didnt they vanish quickly when people came forward saying those ladies were lying..

now, we are back on the Russia narrative.

Here's a news flash.. if there was a photo of Trump and Putin handing each other briefcases - America wouldnt care. Because Hillary is the worst thing that could happen to America since the Federal Reserve.

I like how people say what Comey did was ''unprecedented''

.. I guess, thats because we've never had someone running for the office of the President who

1. Kept a secret server in her basement
2. Used that server to conduct for profit activities at the state department
3. Deleted the information on those servers after being subpoenaed
4. Lied to congress and the people about the server
5. Lied to congress and the people about deleting information on the server
6. Receiving debate questions before the debate
7. Colluding with the media to hide the truth
8. Colluding with Super Pacs to cheat candidates out of the race
9. Colluding with the DNC to cheat candidates out of the race

If after all that you're stating how ''unprecedented'' this is and complaining that the FBI shouldn't be investigating Clinton.. then you are either totally delusional or your on the last lines of your stooge DNC playlist.

It took a couple days for the machine to start working to grind out the nonsense. I knew it would come through though. So all of these Russia connections show up 4 days after Hillary gets schlonged by Huma and her estranged husband.

Well said. This is all thats needed in reply to the op.
It will take more than these loose claims from "tea leaves" (seriously?) to wash all of the above away.

From the article in the OP:

Our experts have conducted a detailed analysis of the alleged internet traffic and did not find any evidence that it included any actual communications (no emails, chat, text, etc.) between Spectrum Health and Alfa Bank or any of the Trump organizations. While we did find a small number of incoming spam marketing emails, they originated from a digital marketing company, Cendyn, advertising Trump Hotels.

One scientist, who wasn’t involved in the effort to compile and analyze the logs, ticked off a list of other possibilities: an errant piece of spam caroming between servers, a misdirected email that kept trying to reach its destination, which created the impression of sustained communication.

Its leading theory is that Alfa Bank's servers may have been responding with common DNS look ups to spam sent to it by a marketing server.

When the researchers pinged the server, they received error messages. They concluded that the server was set to accept only incoming communication from a very small handful of IP addresses.

(Blocking ping is common practice on publicly available servers.)

It’s possible to impute political motives to the computer scientists, some of whom have criticized Trump on social media.

The Clinton Machine is working hard to get the omg-its-the-Russians theme moving.

An article that's longer than a book and draws that conclusion.

Deflect from what? Comey came out and said that a device might have some mails that might be related to the Clinton email server and the Trump cult lost its mind. It isn't "back to the Russia narrative" and for you to dismiss it as such simply shows that you're mentally unprepared to accept anything that as true that might get in the way of your fawning over Trump.

The Trumpkins care more about Podesta underlings emailing eachother about their own religion than they do about the fact that Trump is surrounded by pro-Putin operatives not the least of which is now former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, whose last client's opponent was poisoned with dioxin by the FSB.

If Manafort's emails were made public, your brain would melt. Hell, if Bannon's emails were made public, you'd be too embarassed to post in a single political thread.

1. Kept a secret sever that communicates with a Russian bank
2. Used that server for who knows what?
3. Destroyed documents subpoenaed by courts
4. Lies to everyone about everything constantly. CONSTANTLY. Non-stop. Never ending stream of bullsh#.
5. Won't reveal his taxes because he knows it would be game over.
6. Couldn't answer a debate question coherently between snfifles.
7. 100% fullly integrated with Breitbart, employed disgraced Fox News sexual predator until he quit, paid Breitbart-funded known hoaxer for video featuring a 2016 campaign season Breitbart operative (Aaron Black/Minter). Colludes with Infowars to send paid agitators to disrupt rallies. Has Fox New's number one personality in campaign (Hannity), doing advertisements and hosting bogus "Town halls" where every question is given to Trump ahead of time. Has Lou Dobbs doxxing his accusers.
8. Biggest supporting PAC promised what it thought was foreign donor (investor?) that it could funnel money to buy influence from Trump.
9. Has devolved to spewing Alex Jones garbage about "globalists" even though he's not only a globalist but the absolute worst variety of globalist.

I didn't complain "that the FBI shouldn't be investigating Clinton" but nice straw man. Comey's announcement was simply that a new device had surfaced in another investigation that MAY or MAY NOT contain emails relevant to the previous investigation.

Keep trying to mischaracterize it though!

BTW, you were dead on in your first post. Today's keyword must be "deflect" because that's EXACTLY what you're trying to do right now.

Please explained how she got "schlonged" by Huma and her estranged husband. IN YOUR OWN WORDS. Explain why you think that anything at all will come from what's on this laptop? Because it has emails? Probably emails from Weiner to his wife?

Why are you so sure that it's anything at all?

Because you WANT to believe that.

Wow you really had to cherry pick to get that put together didn't you? People can read the piece themselves.

First exerpt:

You completely cut around the part where that was from Spectrum Health who was contacted because, "a small portion of the logs showed communication with a server belonging to Michigan-based Spectrum Health."

Second exerpt:

You cut it off right before:

"“I’m seeing a preponderance of the evidence, but not a smoking gun,” he said."

Disingenuous much?

Next exerpt:

Absolutely no context, the statement came from a PR person for Alfa Bank — Jeffrey Birnbaum of the public relations firm BGR.

Next excerpt:

The article says "pinged" but I'm guessing the author is using the term rather loosely and we're not talking ICMP packets.

The Clinton Machine is working hard to get the omg-its-the-Russians theme moving.

Yeeeeaaaah. Whatever became of Carter Page again? Do I need to list all the pro-Putin advisors that have surrounded and informed the "opinions" of Donald Trump again for you? You can desperately try to ignore Trump's ties to Russia but that's all it is —you desperately trying to ignore — much like this extreme cherry picking cut n paste would be debunking.

No, YOU didn't read the article and you relied instead on somebody else to predigest it and regurgitate to you something that you were capable of accepting.
