Well it looks like the gas lines will get long again in the southeast.

HELENA, Ala. (AP) Colonial Pipeline says in a statement that it has shut down its main pipeline in Alabama after an explosion in a rural part of the state outside Birmingham.

The Georgia-based company said in the brief statement Monday evening that its top priorities are the health and safety of its work crews at the scene and protecting the public.

Authorities said at least seven workers have been injured in the explosion on the gas pipeline.

Gov. Robert Bentley said the explosion happened about a mile west of the spot where the pipeline burst last month. That rupture led to gasoline shortages across the South.

Gassed up today, last go around our service stations were out of gas for better than 2 weeks with rural independent stations longer than that.

After superstorm Sandy (2012), the northeast had a major gas shortage (aside from thousands displaced) -- had no effect on the election.

But, I hope they do something soon, no gas really makes life tough!

The EU is significantly risking to run out of gas in the coming years. Jan 1st 2019, the gas will stop flowing through Ukraine ... Only chance for the EU is the Turkish Stream.
