of all the ufology publications the most important certaynly was the fsr(flying saucer review)
it featured some very interesting investigations of worldwide ufo sightings
however for some reason it stopped publications on 2004

Without funding then you can't keep operating hence their demise, there were a lot more very good research and reporting prints that also ended.

I do agree though that some of the best stuff on UFOs is in print and not on the web

A lot of other good stuff there as well.

FSR was, and remains, a great research tool. Perhaps a little biased towards the Extra-Terrestrial Hypothesis at times. But not a problem. Generally it remained objective and had some great guest writers alongside its regular staff.

I wasn't sure until recently whether FSR had effectively ceased publication (and, judging from the comments above, other people thought the same).

However, in July this year, Clas Svahn of the AFU in Sweden shared a photo of the front cover of the latest issue of FSR - see below (i.e. Summer 2016, Volume 55 number 2).

So, to paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of FSR's death are greatly exaggerated.

Nah that's just CGI Isaac. Look at the badly formed shadow under the thumb against the cover......

Seriously - is this a unique copy or is FSR really coming back?

AFU depository

Some early ones that may or may not be in the previous repositories are available here.

I liked FSR

I liked FSR and UFO Magazine as well. Victims of the internet, like many small newspapers.
I hope it does not claim Sky&Telescope and Scientific American, as the real down to Earth stuff is in jeopardy in the same way.

was thinking about this again today.
its blaffling how vague their website is, there are only order links to "past issues" and no information, not even a photo of the front page of the new issue.
that image that koi shared still confuses me, where are they publishing now? or they just give special private issues to the AFU collection?and where that clear saucer photo comes from?
questions, just questions...
